but the new pcm if you haven't noticed is has way better graphics therefore needing better graphics cards and such.

Does it crash when you're moving through the cyclists in the peleton and/or various groups, or does it also crash when you're just watching and not actually doing anything? Also is it just one stage or does it happe in every race? If it's the former you could just simulate that one stage and play the next one.
As for the graphic card, on my laptop on which I play PCM09, I have 2 graphic cards (I can switch between them with a button on the laptop), a higher/better NVIDIA and a basic Intel GMA one on the motherboard that's supposed to be used if you want to use less energy (battery). The weird thing is that the game runs much better on the latter even though it's supposedly much worse (PCM is an exception, because in other games this is not true and the NVIDIA card is much better/smoother). If I use the NVIDIA in PCM, I get "pauses" in the game, especially in the last 10 km of a race when the finish line, etc. are being drawn/retrieved. I know this doesn't help you solve your issue, but I thought it was worth mentioning that a better graphics card may not lead to better performance. |

anywhone how now what I can do? I really want to play pcm now
And I don't think that my pc isn't god anough for pcm, a frind is playing pcm on a computer that is not any batter than mine..

now the game has worked for almost 2 seasons on carieer. But now the problem is back, the game shuts down if I juse long time on a stage, but if I have x8 on the speed almost the whole stage its works fine... any whone how now what I can do to fix that?..
and when the games shuts down the normal pcm.exe has stopped working is coming up.. |
