I guess that the lack of team - mates is affecting Van Stayen there. But it's nice to see that Van Den Eynde can actually do something

Van Stayen was close to take a stage win there even though Swift won by a mile. Only once chance left for him now.

So it the sprints Guero has come 19th, 19th and 18th, at least he is consistent.

I know, but as my sprinter I have such high hopes for him. Hopefully he will win something next year.

I wonder why Henao Montoya didn't counter their main opponents, knowing that there were no teammates to help in the chase. |

I lost Mount Hood Cycling Classic because Henao Montoya didn't bother to attack in time. The same is happening here. |

Good point right there. In Volta a Portugal, he was wonderful and he wasn't the main favourite. |

Really nice to see Van Stayen in top 10 but the mountains are coming so I guess he will be out of there in no time

And Van Stayen wins a stage! Only one team - mate didn't stop him making some good results.

That's better, now lets see if I can scrape a top 10 for Tenorio as well.

9 seconds from the top 10, unfortunately a top 5 is probably out of reach for Madrazo

If Phinney can win this now.... how about next year when he's 80ish in mountains, and 82ish in TT...?

Does he not go to 81MO 80TT if you train him as a stage racer and 77MO 82TT if you train him at TT. Tenorio will be 79MO 77TT next year and, barring new top talents introduced, those two will fight it out for the win.
