Stage 2- Hahndorf- Stirling
A farely exciting stage today, a break went away after 10km of initial 4 riders, i'm glad to say David Le Lay got into that break to keep up our team's record of been active in the breaks, but to our dissopaointment the tempo in the peleton was very high all day and combined with strong winds, made this almost impossible for the break to stay away for long. They were eventually reeled back into the peleton with 90km to go and after that no one tried to break out of the peleton. The last 5km brought a surprise as Cyril Dessel went off the front of the peleton to try and win the stage on his own, it worked Dessel just managed to stay out in front by a few bike lengths. A fantastic attempt and great win for our team, he now lies 3rd overally behind Pozzato and Devolder.

A very tired Dessel was very happy with his efforts and his win. |

Stage 3- Unley- Victor Harbour

A bad day for my AG2R team, we didn't get a rider into the break and failed to compete for a top 10 place in the sprint, very dissopinted.
A busy day in the peleton today plenty of attacks. First break went away with 120km to go. A group of 15 got around 2.30mins only to be reeled in by the peleton with 110km to go. Another break went away with 100km to go, this consisted of a group of 11 riders, this group of riders stayed away until the 20km mark. Before they were reeled in a group of 9 riders tryed to bridge the gap to the 11 out front but were unsuccessful. Onto to the sprint, it was a messy sprint with Devolder winning. For our team we had Mondory up at the front for a while but couldn't produce a good sprint which infuriated Elmiger who felt he had the legs for a good sprint.
Elmiger was dissopinted with the team for not allowing him to be up there for the sprint. We apologised to Elmiger for our mistake. Reports are roaming round of unrest between Mondory and Elmiger after todays stage.

Will everything be sorted, will these reports going around that there is unrest in the team be true. Keep reading reports on the Tour Down Under to find out how it unfolds. |

Stage 4- Burnside Village- Angaston
Plenty of attacks in todays stage, an intitial breakaway of 6 riders went away after 130km, then AG2R's Revard joined the break along with 3 other riders. Revard din not have the fitness to stay with the breakaway and dropped back into the peleton after 60km. the break eventually got caught after 25km but 1 rider broke of the front of the break before the 20km mark and was caught. The sprint was more organised after yesterdays messy sprint. Pozzato took the win. Elmiger turned in a good sprint finishing 4th.
Elmiger was yet again unhappy with Mondory because Mondory was asked to help Elmiger in the sprint and he refused to. DS was not happy with Mondory, Elmiger believed with Mondory's help he could ahve won the stage. This feud continues, its getting worrying for the team.
Race Result:

HOW long will it continue for, WILL they sort out their differences for the sake of the teams season and Tour Down Under. |

Stage 5- Snapper Point to Willunga
Massive stage and deciding stage in the TDU. Elmiger will be our man for today, hopefully we get the stage win we came here for.

The 2 passes of Willunga, focus points of the whole race.

A breakaway of 10 riders went away after around 135km.

Van Winden of Rabobank tried his best to catch the 10 out front but was stuck in no mans land.

Second passing of Willunga hill, alot of attacks happened out of the peleton, started by my man Elmiger.

A group of 3 riders led by Team Sky's Arvesen caught Elmiger.

Next came Devolder, who came 2nd of this stage.

Group of 5 rider including Devolder and Elmiger caught the breakaway.

Nuyens Attcked out the front of the group he was followed by a few other riders.

Race winner Cancellara attacks with Devolder and Sesma of Euskatel.

The sprint Cancellara wins from Devolder.
Stage Result:

GC:

Dissopointing stage for Elmiger 13th. We attacked too early and by the time the sprint came Elmiger had nothing left.

Stage 6: Adelaide
Last stage of the tour, final chance for another stage win.

I had origionally taken screenshots of the stage but they have gone. It wasn't a busy stage with only a break of 14 riders going away Goddeart made it for our team. It was brought back with 12km to go for the sprint and there was no stopping Petacchi he took the stage win.

Our man for the sprint Mondory didn't turn in a good sprint. Afterwards Mondory and Elmiger make their peace and put a line under their fiasco for their careers at AG2R and for the team.
