The next race this season is Tour Down Under, Australia.
Our squad for this race is:
*M.Aerts
*S.Scheirlinckx
*M.Lloyd
*J.Roelandts
*K. De Haes
*P.Jacobs
*O.Kaisen
We don´t have such high expectations for this race but we hope for atleast one top ten place by Roelandts.
And we think that M.Lloyd can make a good results in the stage to Willunga.

And here we go! First stage in Tour Down Under:

It was an early breakaway group on this stage with seven riders including one of our riders, Staf Scheirlinckx. Other ones in the group were: Haddou from BBOX, Roels from Milram, Liquigas guy Kuschynski, FDJs rider Guesdon, Astanas Muravyev, and Aramendia from Euskaltel. Behind them there were a 3 man group with Phinney, Wyss and Hinault who were chasing the first gruop.

But Team Saxobank didn´t want any riders to be infront so they sat a high pace in the peleton and worked the breakaway back in.

Ballan attack, and his goal was to take the mountains points and yes he won all points.

And Ballan didn´t had enough there he continued to drive hard, and Ballan, Flecha, Marzoli, Vaitkus soon had a gap to peleton , 3 mins as most.

But with 13 km left there dream to win this stage was over when teams like Saxobank, Garmin with Farrar, Rabobank with Freire, Quickstep with Davis and Milram with Ciolek had caught the breakaways.

Some km before the finnish line it looked like it would become disorganized sprint.

And the person who mastered the sprint best on this stage were Bernhard Eisel who won this stage infront of Breschel and Freire. And on the first stage we had a top ten finnish by Roelandts, 9th.
Here is results from the first stage in Australia:

And now were off to stage 2 in Tour Down Under.
Favourites today are Freire, Breschel and Gasparotto these are riders who can sprint good even when it´s a uphillsprint.
This finnish seems little to hard for Roelandts, so we don´t have any expectation at all.

When the first sprint came there were som attacks from the pack, and after some kms Cervelo rider G.Rasch , J.Dean from Garmin and FDJ rider Geusdon had more then 3 mins to the pack.

The teams who worked most infront today were Columbia who defended their yellow jersey, Liquigas, BMC and Saxobank also helped them and worked.
With 45 kms left P.Horrillo tries to catch the breakaway group him self and then go solo.

But after some kms infront of the pack Horrillo were back in the pack.

26 kms left and Rasch and Guesdon attack away from Dean, and after that the pack did catch Dean.

And it did not take long before the pack also catched Rasch and Guesdon.

Before the sprint started Eisel were very good positioned, maybe he can take another win?

But no this hill was to hard for Eisel and N.Nuyens took the stage and Arvesen came in 2nd and Larsson 3rd. Our best man was M.Lloyd who came in as 18th man. Eisel keept the yellow jersey.

And the results are here:

oh yes
do you have a screenshot of the sky kit on the DB? looks like KAA has his national jersey on and there are no sky riders on any of your other SS's. Also, what do the radioshack/sky/BMC squads look like seeing as they haven't been 100% confirmed in real life?

Time for 3rd Stage of Tour Down Under
The profile of todays stage is quite easy it looks like it will be a sprint between the best. Our main favourites is T.Farrar, A, Petacchi and O.Freire.

Many riders tried to breakaway from the pack but it took many km before someone could get a gap, and it was O.Kaisen and J.A.Flecha who did get a gap of 1.30 min.
But Flecha was not happy with Kaisen there and attack away from him, not long after det Kaisen were back in the pack.

With 25 kms left flecha soloride were over and seems like it will be a bunch sprint.

With 5 km left Roelandts were in a good postion and Lloyd were up there to avoid a crash.

One of the favourites today took the stage win and it was Tyler Farrar 2nd Matti Breschel, and on 3rd our talented Jurgen Roelandts showed exakly his talent.

Here is the stage results and mountains results.
And here you have the overall standings and points classifications.
