I wouldn't go that far, as long as it's well publicsed this is the main cycling event in the North America (as far as license goes), i can imagine it'll attrack a fair few canadians and Americans hopping accross the border.

Probably. Most of the cyclism fan will go see on of these two race. And there will be a lot of people that will go , just for fun, just for say: "I have been there" the cyclism is not very popular in canada

I still find it a bad idea.
why not make one of the older races a PT-race?
like Paris-Brussles,Omloop het Nieuwsblad or Milan - Torino.

Because they are trying to make it a global sport........its the same reason why the USA got the World Cup in 94, and South Africa is hosting it next year - expansion of the brand. |
