Great FOOTBALL in the extra time. Belgium could have decided the game in the 90 minutes, but they weren't very effective, and the american goalkeeper was the man of the match for me. |

Klinsman said he would only use Altidore in an emergency.
IS THIS AN EMERGENCY ENOUGH FOR YOU?
When a manager says that sort of thing he's either bluffing or he's never going to let him play.
Another great game. Klisnmann did a hell of a job with this team.
Tim Howard for man of the match, even with the 2 goals imo

Funny enough, Klinsmann used that as excuse, too.
And who the hell is Fellatio?

Extra time was great.
Good that Belgium won, deserved, though I admit that I hoped for a late USA goal

Wasn't it Witsel, not Fellaini, that was on the ground late in the game (and for nowhere near 3 minutes, I might add)?
Deserved win for Belgium, although Howard was incredible. |

I had a very bad pseudo acid trip flashback of Ghana players in 2010 and Fellatio and Friends started flopping to waste time.
Edit: The Lubecock goal ended up being the difference. I question why they would take out Orgy for him, but he made the difference. At the time the guys were down from being down and they got caught out. you eliminate that mistake and it changes everything, but because they let it get to them we lost.
I am so frustrated as well as our awareness. How many times it was in the box and our guy got caught looking the wrong way.

Yeah it was Witsel, not Fellaini. By the way, Klinsmann (and you Americans for that matter ) should do their homework. Most Belgians don't speak French
What a game!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Belgium REALLY should have scored much more. Should have been an easy win. But somehow they kept fucking up. Howard made some nice saves but some shots were really weak tho |

27 shots on target. lol
Like I said before, all players switched to the "don't score" mode for the round of 16.

With 16 saves, Timm Howard became a goalkeeper with the biggest amount of saves in one match, in the history of World Cup.
Well, deserved.

Wow. The most beautiful game of football I've ever seen, honestly. I'm dead tired of watching it, my heart did overtime today.
This is a Belgium to be proud of. But hats off to the goalkeeper of the USA. |

According to Wikipedia 38% do as their first language and 48% as their second.
That's 86% of Belgians that speak a considerable amount of French.
Edit: That Wondolowski miss hurts bad. 99% sure Donovan would have buried that in the back of the net.

That's in theory. Truth is that many of those 48 (who speak Dutch as their native language) don't speak 4 words French.
But in this football team, I think they all do.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure those numbers are inaccurate, the 38% seems about right, but English is definitely second. I think I know where the numbers are based on, but 86% is an absolute overkill.
Still shaking a bit, that game was so good. Tim Howard was really good and the US played along very well. 10-5 would've been the correct result
