What a suprising result!
Well not really.
Tomorrow could be interesting with something that looks like an actual hill in the final |

I think that he should win every stage so we can get detailed information from "inside" the peleton .
I really like his interviews |

How can you compare a mountan ITT to this?
If you want to pull a good comparison:
1 Ivan Basso (Liquigas) 6:21:58
2 Cadel Evans (BMC) + 1:19
3 Michele Scarponi (Androni) + 1:30
4 Damiano Cunego (Lampre) + 1:58
5 Alexandre Vinokourov (Astana) + 2:26
6 Carlo Sastre (Cervelo) + 2:44
7 Vicenzo Nibali (Liquigas) + 3:07
8 Marco Pinotti (HTC-Columbia) + 3:20
9 Daniel Martin (Garmin-Transitions) + 3:32
10 John Gadret (Ag2R) + 3:45
11 David Arroyo (Caisse d'Epargne) + 3:52

Are you quoting the results of a stage where Nibali burnt himself for Basso?
Not really fair

There is no real way to compare 2 stages.
There are different riders participating. The form will be different. The route might be different.
Too many points to look at if you compare.
Cycling would be quite boring if everybody already knew that Nibali will lose against Mosquera. He might but let`s see on Saturday. |

Well using the Corones ITT is a much much much worse example as mine...
Just the general fact of using a 12km (?) stage compared to a 172km one for instance (with 3 cols in front of Bola del Mundo instead of 0 in frnt of Corones) |

I agree that a TT isn't a good example of the result. However it does show that Nibali doesn't collapse when the gradient gets very steep. I guess we will just have to wait and see how strong Nibali is.

He does collapse however when he is forced to follow a tempo that is too high for him. As he showed numerous times, not only during this Vuelta, but also during the Giro |

Sleeping.
There's a hill now, though, so time to wake up. |
