Boucles de l'Aulne (1.1)
1. Ladagnous
2. Y. Martinez +2"
3. Fonseca
4. Fouchard
5. Coquard
6. Pauriol
7. Elissonde
8. Dolfsma
9. Corbel
10. Levarlet
The break of 13 riders was reeled in with 25 or 30 km to go. I've no idea when Ladagnous attacked, probably on the last climb (uphill finish). |

Still pissed off how he went off at Robuaix. Great result for Ladagnous.
Martinez continuing great form. And Coquard... showing some great hilly skills making that selection, just love the giy.

I agree about Coquard, as I know the place quite well, Boucles de l'Aulne must have quite an important cumulated climbing, and the last km consists of 100 m of easy cobbles, then 8 or 9 % during 400 m, and then more or less 3 % until the finish line (and a roundabout with 200 m to go).
Agreed about Fonseca too. Was extremely good on the local scene in youth categories, but he seemed to struggle a little when he made it to the pros.
Now he's a podium contender in most 1.1 races, he might end up in a PCT team or WT team within a couple of years (I can't see him being more than a penultimate helper in hilly races in a WT team though). |

Bretagne - Séché Environnement is PCT.

Nice 3rd from Barta in Bavaria, he is top level in those short tours with a TT and hills.

He's the biggest talent we've had in a long time. Very likely to join his brother at Argos as stagiaire later in the season. Really looking forward to following those two in the next few years.
