Does the equipment affect the riders performance? |

Nope.
It might have some influence on simulation results, but not in 3D, so it's a waste of your career money

Depends on the team, I think. At first glance, it seems very well though. However, if you are Sky and don't win the Tour then it's quite a failure I think

Yes thats why i posted im a littlle bit annoyed really with the 2nd in Suisse and the TDF did not win 1 stage in those races.
The rider is Nibali so even better than Contador. |

How could i not win a stage lol, Nibali is better than Contador and i won Giro/TDF with Contador and Quintana(b4 his TDF update) so how i cant even come close to beating Froome.
Do you reckon i was in top shape early becuase i rode Suisse(always usually do Dauphinee) and the Ita international championships. I was in Excellent shape yet i in the past go their just after Dauphinee and they build it up a little. |

You're English isn't that good and I can't make up a lot of sense out of your story but it might be because you use the wrong tactic or simulate? |

You could use training camps to boost for TdF. |

@Yves Well, I count a few spelling mistakes in your post as well
I wouldn't use a training camp, to be honest, it really gives you a big advantage on the AI. Some might call that unfair.

I don't see anything wrong with a recon one though, as far as I'm aware it only reduces the chance of having a negative daily form on key days.

So at the start of the season I signed one of the future stars of my career and took him with me to Volta ao Algarve :
Bradley Wiggins were 1 second behind on the first checkpoint, but surprisingly he didn't win

Wow. I started a career with OPQS and season 1 was the most successful ever
Best results
Won Tour Down Under
1 - 2 in Paris - Nice
Won the Omloop & Kuurne
Won E3, G-W, RvV and P-R (Stybar and Boonen)
3rd in the Giro (Uran)
3rd in the Tour (Kwiatek)
2nd in the Vuelta (Uran again), with a stunning 6 stage victories)
Team got 70 victories in the season (Kwiatek got 16)
A neopro came in 2nd in a hilly World Championship. Dan Martin won the WC.
Won Il Lombardia (Kwiatek)
Got 4 RR and 3 TT champions, too.
Disappointments
Cavendish was out for 4 months with an injury so no Tour de France for him.
Tony Martin only won 3 time trials and came in 2nd in the WC ITT.
Milan - San Remo was a big letdown with the new profile. Only 23th place with Uran.
But now Stybar and Terpstra left, so I hope season 2 can be somewhat in the same direction. |

Started a Milram career on PCM 08. Makes me miss that gameplay so much. Riders could go through each other, but could still get blocked sometimes in sprints so you still have great sprint gameplay and trains. Mountains are fun too!
I finished the first season with several wins from Petacchi who I signed from Free Agency. I also signed Nerz, Sagan and Vermeltfoort from Free Agency too and all of them have progressed well.
Gotta love the ability to transfer riders in the off-season too. Brought in Gerdemann and Ciolek who joined Milram irl, and also brought in Kittel and Degenkolb too. Safe to say my team is great for youth now, especially with Velits still there, who was always amazing in PCM08.
Might post a squad screen when Ive got the game open later. Its a great squad.

I enjoy playing this game as well, do you have a DB for it, as the links on the forum don't work!

Actually, has anyone tried (person who would usually play on Hard) using training camps + extreme difficulty? How does that work out?

Will do. Currently uploading 3 different DB's.
The Camerluca 2009 DB and the 2008 Plus Package as well as its Equipment DB add on. Be warned the Camerluca and Equipment DB are auto-installers and both change the PCM game interface, so if you dont want that, back up the necessary folders.
