What a day! Two people saw captain Roglic fall out, five others saw captain Ayuso tumble down heavily (maybe followed by a DNS later?), whereas the two that captained Tiberi also didn't have a lot of fun so far. Pidcock, who is Sean's captain, also hasn't score massively so far.


We got our first Italian stage win, which is important for one of the bonus questions, but when looking at the big guys crashing and leaving the race or the top-10, the stage points we're gathering might be even more important than I thought when we started. One guy predicted Roglic' downfall leading to his best domestique doing great things today, so congratulations to knockout for that!

Knockout wins the stage with 80 Pellizzari points, as stated above. Adding nine Carapaz points to that to make it 89. In fact, only one person didn't select Carapaz (yes, me).

Fortunato should have taken the stage himself so me and three others would have won three more points, but he was too nice. Scaroni netting nobody any points, after having been selected many times before in the game. Nobody predicted he would do this well in the mountains, so well played to him nonetheless.

Gee and Storer give six and four managers ten points each today, with S. Yates only not being selected by numbers one and two knockout and sean, and of course, me.

Let's see the GC!

Only one change today actually, with stage winner knockout now in second, while ember drops from second to fourth. Abhishek still in the lead after an okay stage, but of course the pressure from behind is increasing. Who keeps pink the longest, Abhishek or Del Toro?!

This feels like a mess to predict - no idea how tough those climbs are, whether the sprinters teams have firepower or whether Polti will put their entire team in the break after today's miss
