In the eternal efforts to see McQuaid defeated, this could be something to watch (remember that Makarov has quite a lot of power/influence amongst the upper echelons of the UCI):

And because it is completely separate news I'll do it in a different post. A lot of us have been raising eyebrows at Konya Torku's results this year, so this might be interesting and could be a sign of things to come:

Not about cycling per-se, but it shows that anti-doping is intensifying in Turkey, so don't be surprised if we hear something from that team in the near future.

Apparently Europcar have confirmed they will continue sponsoring the team for another two years at the team's press conference. |

I think no one saw this coming
I feel very sorry for the race organizers. They produce one of best cycling productions and this happens again for them..

Now I'm waiting for Gretchyn or whatever his name is to be caught too. Ridiculous, the most obvious doper around along with Santa this season.

If it took them over 2 months to catch the most obvious doper ever. Imagine the ETA for Froomebot... |

Yeah, Sayar was nothing compared to Gretchyn.
Not specifically in Turkey, but especially in Azerbaijan stage 2. Maybe someone remembers the tweets I linked to about that stage.

Somebody explain to me why they're only announcing this 4 months later
Hopefully this means the end of the Tour of Turkey, although this positive isn't from that race.

Was the Tour de France in May and I'm not aware of it?

No, but the Giro was. And our giallo fluo friends were there.
The alien is not a case. Yet.

Isso, was the positive in Algeria? But this is such a shock, nobody was expecting this. Only Gretchyn left. |
