Damn. Been playing my new Sky save for the last few days, on hard difficulty. Had my season all planned. March is just starting. And Löfkvist broke a hip. Meaning he will miss T-A and Catalunya.
And I have no idea who the hell can fill that slot. Everyone is booked up for 70 days. This makes my head hurt. |

My Ag2r success continues as Mondory finishes 2nd at Gent-Wevelgem and Gadret wins the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, plus a stage win, a second place and the points classification by Bouet (all from breaks). I'm really enjoying these results

I have a nice career going with FDJ. I'm on 1st of April and managed to win Paris - Nice with Pinot and Catalunya with Fedrigo after a succesful breakaway in stage 1. Other notable results are a stage win with Demare in Down Under, a 2nd place in G-W and 6th in Flanders with Ladagnous. I try and play mostly races in french circuit where i dominate, notching about 35 wins so far. |

Ive started with Astana, not had many wins so far, we tried at TDU with Lutsenko and Iglinskiy, and Guardini for sprint.
Onto Oman where Nibali won overall plus a stage win and Guardini dissapointed in sprints again.
At Paris Nice and T-A now, leaders for Paris Nice are Tiralongo and Fuglsang, we have Bozic for sprints and Iglinskiy is also here. Fulgsang sitting in the top 10 not too far of the race lead so far. Bozic not really been up there in the sprints.
At T-A we won the first stage with Nibali but Guardini still struggling in the sprints.
I have Nibali targeting the TDF this season and he is out of contracr at the end of the season, hope he will sign for next season.

Funny, I also had big trouble with Guardini, so I will not even renew his contract when it will end. But Nibali made everything right by winning 7 stages, the GC as well as the points and mountain classifications in the Giro. Hope he can do the same at the Vuelta...
By the way, how many races do you guys normally assign to your riders? I'm trying to keep everyone below 70, but this is leading to some hardships in planning optimal form for certain races. Can riders for example still be great in Lombardia or Beijing with 70+ race days?

My leaders usually have around 60-65 race days, except if they're doing something after their real peak (like my TdF leader does the Eneco Tour, or the Vuelta leader supports the classic riders at Lombardia). My weak helpers often have up to 90-100 race days. They don't have to do more than fetching water bottles, and they can do that with 70 fitness as well.
Btw, my Ag2r career is still going well. Gerdemann finished second in the Pais Vasco. Nocentini got injured at the Brabantse Pijl so Betancur had to lead in the Ardennes, did very well with a 2nd, a 3rd and a 5th place. I'm now at the Giro, after the first long time trial, Pozzovivo is 9th overall. Wiggins, Samu Sanchez, Nibali and Hesjedal should fight for the podium, with a bit luck, I might be able to enter the Top 5, but there are a lot of other strong riders around (Scarponi, Gesink and more). Betancur is currently in white and Riblon in the mountain jersey, but both will have a hard time defending it.

You mean as an actual story? No, this savegame is for my casual gaming, particularly for not needing to report every stage So you'll have to make do with these small reports. I'm thinking about writing a story again, though, but that's not for this thread.

Go cunego Hope you come up with a new story fast
I'm actually mutated, I can't play PCM anymore without having the need to report about it. Everytime I get a nice win or something, I regret: oh no, I can't post about this.
So I can't play without a story

I have started up with a new career with Movistar. I must say, with the game patched and the pcm daily 2013 database this game is exellent and a lot of fun to play!
Started ok in Tour Down Under and Rojas got 4th place overall and a stage win. Tour De San Luis went even better with Nairo Quintana winning comfortably the overall and every classification. My god he is a talent!
Next big result was Valverde in Vuelta a Mallorca, with the overall and a stage win, he owed that victory to the brilliant work of Javier Moreno. Next Quintana continued his run of good form in Tour De Mediterranean, he got two stage wins and also snatched the overall by three seconds over Cameron Meyer, after a brilliant attack on Mont Faron. Right now, im fighting for a top 5 with Rui Costa in Volta Algarve.
Big targets for the year include the ardennes classics with Valverde, top 5 in the tour and hopefully podium in la vuelta with the enigma Cobo |

I kinda feel like you Ian, luckily I have created this thread
I have started a NetApp - Endura career and the first season is going a little below expectations. Im at the Tour de France now (although not riding it) and so far my only real results have been by Konig at the Giro del Trentino and a few other Top 5's in GC's.
I think I am the 6th ranked CT team in the CQ Ranking right now, so its doubtful that I can promote the team to the ProTour this season, but I have stocked up on some great signings.
Firstly, I brought in Rein Taaramae, Tiernan-Locke, Blythe, Ciolek, Haller, as well as signing Alex Rasmussen from the Free agents to fit with the great TTing theme that the team has.
Of course, I've had to let some riders go. Off the top of my head, Huzarski, Schorn, Matzka and a few others are on the way out but the riders coming in are all very good so I am happy about that.
And I've signed 3 prospects, 1 of which already has 70 in Hill. I hope to make a PT push next year for sure.

Hurray for the AI. After good results in NC's from Calabria, i just won the Strade Bianche with Samoilau. I'm playing as Novo-Nordisk and i'm currently sitting at the top of the rankings. |

Did the EPO up Breschel's COB stat, or did training do that?
But please, don't call it EPObank, that hurts me

Ahaha ok. It was normal development (/EPO). We'll use drugs but never use training camps ... that's just ... so wrong and unfair |
