Nice riding by Phil. I'm hoping for a nice sprint by Boonen and Goss. That 1-2 would be perfect (the other way round obviously).
Not happening though. Stupid UK Postal.

At German Eurosport we have former cyclist Jean-Claude Leclercq and he said during the Tour de France after he was asked how the possibilties are that Sky would form at the olympics a hidden team with Eisel for example helping Cavendish out that "it is an unwritten rule in cycling that at the national teams races, that you ride for your own chances and national team instead of helping other cyclists from other countries but are in your pro cycling team"

About Eisel.
You're representing your country for the Olympics. The most important sport event in the world. Your country selected you, because you're their best hope of a medal.

I'll end my posts on that subject with this: This shows exactly what regard Sky have for fair play and not cheating: none. Make of that what you will.

Nothing special is happening in the cycling so I switch over to watch beach volleyball. After 10 minutes I check back and the worlds gone mad!

Amazing to see 4 Swiss and 3 Spanish riders at the front of the breakaway. This is going to be really interesting.

I take back what I said a bit earlier - Spain, Switzerland and Italy (and the US to a certain extent) have executed a decent plan.
Still going to be tough to stay clear but it will soften up Germany and GB for sure.
