I've got to say that I was starting to believe in AC's story. Yeah really. It was plausible. But, well, after reading that about the plastic particles, and specially these articles (both in Spanish, I'm sorry), I can't believe that anymore:
https://www.elmundo.es/elmundodeporte/...65282.html
This one doesn't really need a translation. Google the bolded names, and you'll find out the stories.
And then, this article, released by 'Sport' on July 23th (two days after the supposed steak). You can find a google translation by clicking on the UK flag above:
https://www.sport.es/default.asp?idpub..._PK=722519
There it says:
Yesterday he (referring to Astana's chef) went to Pau's market and bought some beef steaks, potatoes and pasta.
Really? I thought the steak came from Irún.
Edit: isso's right, nevermind this last article. Got confused about the dates and didn't read the last sentence.

He's describing the food they ate after the Tourmalet. The positive was before the Tourmalet.

Something else i have noticed, if he had eaten contaminated steak it will make him feel ill and probally gave him salmonella, he showed no signs of that flying up the tourmalet with Schleck, Contador you absolute muppit, why throw away your career, i am livid.

why are these bad stories always released durng a big race? It's as if people behind it all are trying to ruin cycling. Personally i think it's a blood transfusion gone wrong, whoever had the original blood probably ate a bad sheep. |

You guys keep talking about meat in spain and lame excuse this and that.
But fact is actual science backs up what Contador claims. So...uhm, science is wrong and you guys are right? lol.
Epic fail to you guys...
And that's the last i say about this
Two things:
Good for you to not come back on page nine. And what an unfortunate doublepost.

Whether he did it deliberately or not. The fact he had an advantage over others means he should hand back his title. Just because you didn't know you were cheating doesn't make it ok to cheat. Well, in every other country but spain that is |

The EU has chimed in. Says the substance is illegal to use in animal fodder so naturally the steak can not be from a EU country

Oh so because the EU claims that its against the law, it totally never happens in EU? I guess by the logic i can safely say that doping is illegal in cycling, therefore no one actually dopes and it would be true.

I think, that it was a very bad day for all the people in the cyclingworld. I haven't seen it before. I think, that it will be the same, if Armstrong was doped. It was a very bad day, and I hope so much, that he don't get a penalty.. |

I think what he meant was that if it is ever proven without a doubt that Armstrong was doped.

You mean terminate the old exciting races to substitute them for new boring races? Oh no, I see, you mean to not help at all to reduce costs in order to help big teams to keep winning. Either way, no thanks. I don't want any of them in front of the sports I like. |

I think what he meant was that if it is ever proven without a doubt that Armstrong was doped. You probably mean "got condemned", because there's not a single doubt about 1999. |

“It’s a story that we’ve been expecting,” Offredo said to RMC.fr. “We’re not unduly surprised. A little [surprised] about the Clenbuterol because we’d really have expected something else. It’s like the tree that hides the forest.
“Right now, amongst the riders, I can tell you that we’re not that shocked.”
https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/chava...-innocence
Not a revealing article or something, but I sure was shocked to read a rider speaking so openly and harshly about it. |
