Well, I hated Greece before this, now I hate them even more.
Greece is the absolute most destructive anti-football team , but that is their play and they do it better than even the italians and the end of the day if that brings you on well it brings you on.
But as a neutral spectator i hate Greece and everything they stand for in football and if they go on today it will be such a undeserving passage. |

Hate me for supporting Greece, but you've got to give it to them that they were quite a bit more attacking then normal. They had a few really nice precise passes down the wing, something Costa Rica never did the whole match. I mean, I know Costa Rica were trying to waste time at the end, but some of their decisions were just stupid, clearing it at the Greek GK when they clearly could've wasted more time.
A lot of you guys who like to see action every minute on the pitch will disagree, but it's nice to see defensive playstyles. Deserved? Probably not. But nonetheless tactically smart. Call it "anti-football" if you want
EDIT: That Greek manager though, he looks like he lived in 500BC

Please join UTD Robben it is forgiven. HAHA.
The referee refused a penalty in the first half for Robben.
If the referees only give penalties after a dive, don't blame the players. |

Wait, what is the difference between Greece game in regular part of this match and Netherlands game today? Both of them were extremely passive and "anti-football" before they conceded a goal (whole first half and few minutes in 2nd half) and started attacking then. Absolutely the same situation, except that maybe Duthies attacked for 5 more minutes.
The point is that you supported and praised Netherlands and you suddenly hate Greece & their "anti-football" now...

On a tournament, you play to win, not to shine.
Nobody forces you to watch these matches. |

Of course, I watch because I enjoy watching them. I also agree with first sentence, just hate how there are different "criterias" (let's call it like that) for two teams with absolutely the same game-playing style.
Go Costa Rica!

i don't hope for a holland vs greece
you'll be watching 90 minutes where the ball just lies in the middle of the pitch and none of the teams wanting to touch it |

And then Robben will do a theatrical dive in the penalty area to get a pen to win the match |

My post was not addressed to you personally, else I would have quoted you.
It was addressed to the Greece football dislikers. |

don't compare a Holland that was playing on a pitch where the air-temp rose above 32cel to a team who only scored twice and one of those goals was a penalty.
Also Holland is the most scoring team at this WC so if you call that destructive football you clearly have no clue what football is.
So either your a greek supporter or someone who just hate Holland.
Anyways Greece has yet again proven absolute nothing and got a goal on luck, and because they know how to play a defensive destructive football 100%. |

I dont know what match you guys were watching (admir) but Greece really deserve to go through, they played better throughout the match and have created more chances (even before CR scored) I really hope they can get what they deserve and then beat the ass out of the Dutchies!

Greece nor Costa Rica do even stand a chance against Holland normally. They are the weakest teams left in this WC. Well except Algeria maybe |

Algeria is far stronger when they are willing to play attacking football, which they only showed in the first half against South Korea.
Really excited about the American GK's so far ( Navas, Bravo, Ochoa,...) |

@Lachi - Yeah, it was a post after mine, so I thought it maybe is connected to what I wrote. Anyways, I agree.
@Jacdk - I am not Greek supporter (which is kinda noticable as I wrote "Go Costa Rica" for like 3 times tonight, you just have to read...) nor Holland hater (tho I am close to being one).
God, why am I even trying to get in a proper discussion with you...What are you on today? Firstly, conditions were same for both Mexico & Netherlands and as I said today - both teams are adapted to these conditions, so bringing these weather arguments is hilarious. Secondly, Netherlands wouldn't be most scoring team without that match against Spain, but you can't take that from them nor blame them for shitty Spain. However, that doesn't make Spain a good team in this WC, nor Dutchie's football attarctive (it keeps bringing results, I agree, but you started all of this shit with game-play style).
@Ryan - I am trying to "defend" Greece (tho I support Costa Rica), and you're suddenly attacking me. What's happening, Ryan?
@GENERAL - GO COSTA RICAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (for 4th time now )
