Contador wins today's stage, but Diaz keeps the overall and should win it tomorrow.

1. Contador (STS) 2. Diaz (SLS) 3. Diniz (FUN) 4. Alcolea (CUB) 5. Santambrogio (VIN)
Pretty strong ride by Diaz. Last year he was 2nd behind Leipheimer and he's only 23 years old. I hope he's clean though. |

Van Garderen lost 16 seconds to Diaz and Diniz, but enough to keep 2nd place on overall. Therefore:
1 - Daniel DÃaz
2 - Tejay Van Garden + 33"
3 - Alex Diniz + 39"
4 - Contador + 1'02"
5 - Van den Broeck +1'47"
Too bad the TV coverage was still really bad this year

I'm really liking this Diaz dude. Maybe we'll hear more of him next season. |

Cyclingnews says DÃaz is 33years old
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified

Very close sprint here. Armee attacked with 5km to go and I think was just caught in last metres it seems. Points in the standings are the UCI Europe Tour ones btw.

La Pomme
Damuseau is a big surprise for me. Didn't think he had that sort of finish.

They probably googled him resulting in Daniel Diaz, soccer player who is 33 years old

Vantomme already posting top 10s? I fully expected him to do pretty much nothing once Crelan signed him.
Also isn't it a general rule/superstition that whoever wins GP Marseilles will do poorly for the rest of the season?

Yes, Dumoulin won it last year and didn't win again |

But he still had his best season, CQ wise and won French Cup which was one of his goals for the season
