Caisse d'Epargne || The Future of the Past

Hushovd is extremely overpowered. Pfft

ste_18
What sprint for Hushovd

Jakstar22
Fantastic sprint by Hushovd.

sutty68
Hushovd was just too good for everyone else today Wink

But nice to see Jeremy Hunt grab the second place Wink

BTW, The first pic looks so real Wink

Ian Butler
How do you make them so nice-looking? Ingame or afterwards?

andy222c
Quite domintant by Hushovd! He must really be in great shape Smile

Thanks a lot everyone! Hushovd has been very strong lately, hopefully we can stop him Pfft

And thanks Sutty and Ian. I just edit them afterwards. My in-game settings are maxed out, and I have the light filtering, in case I want to change the saturation in game, although I never have yet, since you cant do it mid-race anymore, unlike last year.

BTW, I have been a little busier the last week or two, as well I have been more interested in other things, than PCM so that has been the reason for lack of activity.

Tirreno - Adriatico Stage 3

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/ta3-1.jpg

Race Report

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/ta3-2.jpg

Rojas' plan was to get as many points as he could on this stage, and since the peloton could not allow a breakaway to get clear for the first sprint here, he was able to surprise and take the 5 points, a solid effort by him.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/ta3-3.jpg

Later a breakaway did form, and although it again did not last the entire stage, it was still a great way to get the team sponsors some well needed face time. This time it was Marzio Bruseghin who was in the breakaway for Caisse, but he was not on form, and after he was caught, he lost up to 4 minutes on the peloton.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/ta3-4.jpg

The other 3 riders are brought back slightly later than Bruseghin, but are brought back regardless. Rollin was the most active of the riders in the break.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/ta3-5.jpg

And in the sprint, it was again Tom Boonen who came away with a victory. His early season form has been outstanding, and we can only hope he holds it for the Spring Cobbled Classics, which he has to be a favourite for at this point.

It looks easy for Boonen.

Boonen taking an easy one!

The Caisse boys obviously had a quiet day today Frown

valverde321
Thanks a lot Spilak, I love these kinds of comments Pfft I just to minor editing in Photoshop Pfft Wouldn't want to give away the secret though Pfft

Ian and Miguel, indeed Boonen is on great form. I like him though, so its nice to see him win, even if its just PCM.

Sutty, yeah Frown Not played PCM in a while so results aren't going to be great. Hard seems like a good level for me.

Paris Nice Stage 7

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/pn7-1.jpg

Race Report

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/pn7-2.jpg

A 14 man breakaway got clear today, with big names like Dario Cataldo, Sicard and Pierre Rolland. They gained a max of 8 minutes over the peloton, who were chasing pretty hard all day long to keep the gap small.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/pn7-3.jpg

Nearing the 60km to go mark, a few teams put up a chase in order to starting winding the breakaway back in. The likes of Astana and even Caisse, who had guys at the front, and the pace on the final climb was very quick. The fact 120 riders hung on is quite a shock....

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/pn7-4.jpg

Now we can see Caisse really hammering out a quick pace at the front just as we are about to crest the summit of the climb, after the KOM sprint a few km's back.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/pn7-5.jpg

The breakaway is brought back just in time for the sprint trains to get going, barely inside 5km to go. The break nearly made it!

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/pn7-6.jpg

Sagan and Cav are the two in front as we reach 1200 metres to the line. Its looking good for one of them, but have they started too early? Valverde was in a decent spot, but was boxed in.

i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad25/kesler1234/pn7-7.jpg

But Gasparotto takes it, from many bike lengths back, to take the win. That was a very powerful sprint from him, but the experts did expect the punchuers to be riding well at the end here and not the sprinters, so maybe we shouldn't be too surprised. With just the mountain TT tomorrow it is still anyones race!

Tbh Valv playing the game on laptop with decent, but not overopwered graphic card. It's his skills at photoshop that make such an amazing difference. Love the screens, up to the standard I expect Pfft

And very good result, usually Mountain ITT are the easiest form of stages so hopefully Valverde can snatch a win and GC podium. Good luck.

@ Fernando: Thanks a lot. That will be a decisive stage, so I'm looking forward too it, but also fearing it at the same time Pfft

@ Miguel: Pfft

@ Mre: I have pretty much no lag. If I play with my laptop unplugged I get lag though. It plays at pretty much 50 FPS most of the time, while I imagine my old PC played at abut 10 Smile

@ Alakagom: Hey, my laptop is amazing Pfft But thank you. I love to just improve on the screens and get some more natural colors into them.

Thanks. Want to play the MTN ITT for me then? Pfft I am afraid I will blow the chance, even if Albasini is more of a puncheur than a climber Smile
