No reason given, right? Then I only see one reason why they kicked him...

I think the article says bad results, but that's not a legit reason to fire someone. |

It depends on what is or was in his contract, but that'd be quite odd for a cyclist contract. |

The article says that he didn't get any good results this season, but not that it was the reason for sacking him. Unless he has some weird release clause, this means he must've got fired for breaking a rule.

Great to see that obviously talented guy gets a chance on ProConti level, although his opposition couldn't be much harder.

I wonder if they'll stick with Cancellara. If they do, it'll be hard to find a team that can afford and wants to take the three of them. |

Geniez to leave Argos - Shimano at the end of the year, Tour snub and sprinting focus made him decide.
As a Frenchman and my opinion quite good climber than can develop, Europcar would be good choice for him, or any other French WT or Pro Conti.

Although it's always useful to discover other races, etc. there are sometimes other reasons.
If he has to sign in a French WWT or Pro Continental team, I'd rather see him at AG2R, or Roubaix, for example. I guess the team he'll sign with will be a sign. |

FDJ would be my guess who are already fostering quite a bit of French talent.

There he will have even worse position i think, being 3rd or 4th stage racer, but Rabo would be even stronger GT-wise with him.
