I like the reports, Smowz. There's just one thing I don't understand.
Where did Bbox go? I didn't see them in any pictures!
I do know where Hoste is, though.

Wasnt sure at first, but I really like the whole commentary style now. Must be a fair bit more effort to do though, so well done on that.

I guess 8th is the best we can hope for, perhaps even 9th with Gesink so close.

Can't believe I was actually right.

If this wasn't run in race mode i would say Kash's peek was too early in the season (Tour de Suisse)... I mean, the guy is blowing up like popcorns...

And there was Galimzyanov's opportunity of a result, but he missed the move, too bad.

I was thinking of something similar originally for the Giro - but I thought nah it is my first Protour race so I kept it simple.
It actually didn't feel as if it took too long to write the three amigos the only problem was the past tense/ present tense thing that I am not quite happy with. The nice thing is that it allowed me to have a bit more fun with the reports.
Incidentely does it come across that 'DH' Daniel Harrison is biased towards any particular riders? He is modelled more on Phil Liggert than the British Eurosport main commentator. Kingston is of course modelled the UK Eurosport third man Carlton Kirby.

Aaaahhhh...thought Knees had a good chance of taking that. Good Tour for the Colombians - not so good for the Colombian team. |

Ohhh so close for Contador to reach 6th place... I don't know whether or not he will be able to take 25 seconds on Caruso...
Uran I can't catch unfortunately but it seems the time gaps behind Contador are big enough to stay ahead of Gesink, Phinney and Fothen...
And on top of that he actually managed to get the mountains jersey. Never thought that would happen. Madrazo and Ardila both around 30th... Would've expected more, but as both lost about 5mins on a crash they would've finished around 23-24th, which was my target for those...
Still it has been quite a decent Tour for me. On paper Contador could perhaps end up around 5th, but it's very nice to see that we won't lose as many points on La Gazzetta, Wikipedia, Vesuvio, Domina, Pearl and Lipton as I thought.
Still I need for Contador not to crash now...

Are you sure Bewley is there? I assumed he would be, but when I checked on your planner just now, he isnt - with Sammy Sanchez and Nolf there instead.
In terms of TONE, a lot depends on the AI. Will the puncheurs try to capitalise on the opening stages and then look to hold on, or will we say relatively surprising names battling for the win up the Huy, thus setting the 'tone' for the race.
Ohh right... I probably decided not to let him race after how badly Thor Hushovd performed there last season... So Sammy Sánchez in a good day for 15th or so...

Seem like Pedraza will end up 14th. He has kept it together really well during the tour, capitalizing on some crashes. Liking the fact that it's the teams down in the table that are scoring the most points here.

All in all good. Two stagewins eventhough I don't get why Pluchkin doesn't seem to consistent at all and even having a rider he should be beating Popovych finishing ahead of him. The teams competition is a nice bonus though.

That was one lame TT Contador... Losing that much on Phinney sucks! 8th still here, but Wikipedia moving up by a lot here... Damnit!

As required, back up into 5th. Good riding by Uran, he has produced a strong race performance here overall.

Top 10 for Gesink is good even though it could have been better. At least I got some important points in the stage rankings.
Also, that breakaway really helped van der Hugenhaben getting a good place in the GC.

Ive just gone through and added up all ranking points from the first 20 stages, looking forward to adding on Stage 21 + GC and then seeing how the rankings are affected.
