Sucks to see Roy suffering asides from a nice top 10 in a sprint in the main group on stage 6 - Madrazo finally rearing his ugly head after an anonymous season is a kick in the teeth.
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Spoiler My team sucks balls. Like, seriously. They've had too much celebratory champagne after our great September I think

Thanks brewers anyway, I've said enough about how much we suck and are hopeless at anything.

What a contest for the WT/Prestige titles this is!
3rd for Gilbert: 4th for Nibali. There can't be 100 points between the teams with two races to go. Japan Cup and the WTTT championships. What a finish to the season! (Breath in .... And out ....)
knockout's challenge is done after the last monument it seems, but what a team to get so close to the prestige rankings with no-one for the big stage races.

Thanks to Brewers for the races and The Rider/knockout for the updates on the title race which is far more interesting than my teams efforts in the last few races.

It has been a hard long season for both my squads.
Saeco - have held their WT status but have hardly made an impact on the big stage apart from the odd sprint win here or there.
Likewise Fiat - Taschin has chipped in with the odd chrono performance, Per has been gutsy on climbs and Marolt has sprinted well a couple of times.
It is what I expected and it is nice to have a few moments of glory with these teams - Per's second place late on in the Colombia stage race a case in point.

Final two stages of Vuelta a Colombia are up now https://pcmdaily.c...st_1159104
Spoiler As last year, this race was brutal. The reduction in stages helped in the fact that not less than 50 riders finished the race, as I think it was last year. Still the race itself offers some brutal climbing that is spectacularly designed.. and it kicks out plenty off riders. I made a screenshot of the peloton at the final TT.
Aru was really strong but CCC had a fantastic team here, thus Ulissi's support just was really good whilst Aru had mostly weak climbing domestiques. I was surprised he cracked this hard at Cerro Torro but looking at the Time Trial, he would have had to gain lots of time on that multi mountain stage. Something that hsould have happened against Ulissi at least but I guess the relaying didn't help him. Boswell with a really nice show too in this race, lots of attacking. Fuglsang, as Croatia mentioned, got unlucky that his possible stage wins went to breakawayees. Also three stages for Santos - Euskadi and two stages for Christina - Watches (Latour!), so good race for them as well.

Il Lombardia marks the end if my crown hopes. Still I'm very glad how my team bounced back from a rather disappointing start of the season.
A big thank you to all the reporters. Your pace throughout the season was terrific!

You gained 55 points in Lombardia due to the difference between 3rd and 4th and having an additional guy in the top 25
