Dick is short for Richard
It could be worse. That particular duo of commentators use the expression "X beat off Y" a lot.

Sports commentators (or a vast majority of TV journalists ?) are somewhere between awful and pathetic here too anyway.
I'm not sure if it's worst than Dick falling off is a problem, but when South Korea played against any team, we got comments like "Four Lee on a pitch, that has to be a large flat". Lee almost sounds like "lit" in French, that means bed.
Then stuff as "oh my, it wasn't X ? My bad, but what looks more like a Korean than another Korean ?". |

So I'm starting to think I have an addiction to Coke. Its the only thing I can drink anymore that will quench my thirst.
Which really sucks because I cant have Coke for breakfast....

The label of my new hoodie is the best one i´ve seen so far. It says:
Wash warm with like colours (...) as it´s written in every cloth but beneath, twice as big is written:
Or give it to your mom. It´s her job.

Positive outlook: I'm about to go to Africa for 3 weeks on business to stay at a 4 star hotel for free with all expenses paid
Negative outlook: I'm about to wear a suit for 3 weeks. and miss the Giro

I feel genuinely sorry for you, hope you can catch up whilst you're out there
Also: Africa - big place, care to narrow it down a bit?

You could just PVR it and or torrent it, that way when you go you can atleast enjoy the trip knowing you will be able to watch most of the Giro, instead of not at all.
(I assume you already planned to download it or PVR it, but its better than nothing.)
And suits aren't that bad unless you're wearing the same one for 3 weeks, then that could lead to hygiene issues.

I'll have to download and watch the Giro when I get back, and avoid any cycling related news in the meantime.
As for the suits, they're the worst part of the trip. I truly hate suits more than most things on this planet.

I know that PVR or torrent works but i feel the magic is gone when it isn't live. Even if you don't know the the outcome, it just doesn't feel a special. |

Luckily that's not the case with me. I'm one of those (I know many like me) who prefer to watch it later, as there's the freedom of pausing whenever I want and watching whenever I want.

Supersport does pretty good cycling coverage, you would probably get it in a 4* hotel, although obviously I don't know if you would be able to record anything, although they normally have highlights shows

Suits are cool. I don't understand your opinion here.
Well, ok, it might depend on temperatures, and I've never really used one at work, but still... |
