Another signing coming up for Christina Watches. I'm guessing they have signed with Brian Vandborg, but it could also be Martin Pedersen.
Anyway, it will be announced tomorrow. |

Sources say that Cobo has signed with Movistar. The signing will be announced before the end of the year. |

I guess that the sole chance of riding the Vuelta, which would otherwise be impossible to teams such as those two, is enough for them to wet themselves, but I guess they'd need to find another sponsor anyway, I doubt the Geox crew would ride for peanuts.
How about Pistachios? (That team folded, didn't they?)
Nope, Wonderful Pistachios are still around. Though to be honest, I can think of a couple amateur teams with better palmares than them. They are registered as a Continental team for 2012.

The Spanish medical industry will be rubbing their hands with glee. |

He says that he didn't got a professional contract and that he was tired of riding for smaller teams.
He also argue for his retirement, with the economic situation that a smaller cycling team can offer a rider, and thinks that british riders in common doesn't get the pay that can offer them a normal life.
He says that: "To be honest, my heart doesn't wants to be any other place than on the highest level".

Poor Cobo, forced to go back to the team where he achieved nothing in 2010. He deserves better imo |

Seconded. There were better ways to prevent him from achieving anything at all next season, but he's made it through that it seems. |

Technically speaking though it is an improvement, since Geox was Pro-Conti and Movistar are PT.
Also everyone expected him to be behind Menchov and Sastre (well I expected him to be behind Menchov atleast) in the GC depth chart at Geox, so going back to Movistar isn't the worst for him.
At worst it makes Valverde's situation better and at best Cobo can still be leader in races that Valverde isnt at, if Valverde is near what he was before he was suspended.

Yes, I'm surprised what Valverde will be like without doping.
