Haedo, Cavendish and Chicchi all jump at once and it's a straight drag to the line. I can't remember ever seeing a sprint where 3 sprinters go head to head with an equally good starting position.
Chicchi wins. Good night, I'm off to bed.
What are you watching? Chicchi was in Haedo's slipstream until the last 50 meters.
I got the distinct idea he was off to the side.
And now I saw the replay and confirmed that. He was off to the side. He just didn't go 100% until later. Let them get a lead, then jumped later and took it.
EDIT: Haedo can't buy a win, can he?
Just saw the replay myself. Chicchi was off the side for a significant portion of the sprint, but dipped in behind Haedo and used his slipstream for the acceleration around him. |

Yes, but those 500x more people are fat and don't know what a bike is We have lots of bike messengers, not racers per capita |

What do you expect from him? He hero worships Armstrong, no way he's going to believe a word Landis says

20-year old Fabio Felline wins stage 2 of the CIrcuit de Lorraine and also takes the leader's jersey. He seems like an interesting prospect. He's had some good results before this season like 10th in the E3 Prijs.
Circuit de Lorraine, stage 2
1. Fabio Felline (Footon - Servetto) ITA
2. Matteo Carrara (Vacansoleil Pro Cycling Team) ITA
3. Bert De Waele (Landbouwkrediet) BEL 03"
4. Simon Geschke (Skil - Shimano) GER 03"
5. Freddy Bichot (Bbox - Bouygues Telecom) FRA 03"
6. Laurent Mangel (Saur - Sojasun) FRA 03"
7. Sergey Lagutin (Vacansoleil Pro Cycling Team) UZB 05"
8. Maxime Bouet (Ag2r - La Mondiale) FRA 05"
9. Cédric Pineau (Roubaix - Lille Metropole) FRA 05"
10. Manuel Cardoso (Footon - Servetto) POR 05" |

I believe I have said this every year, but it's worth repeating: ToC's live tracker with live video, ticker, standings, stages, etc. is awesome. Nothing less. |

I would love to know why exactly Columbia's main leadout man is in the break.

I'm thinking Cav is having a bad day. So they try Renshaw in the break to get a stage win.
Edit: Cav is 16 minutes off the back of the yellow jersey group.

If Cavendish has been dropped, why not work for Renshaw? Oh well.
The eurosport geniuses, as usual, betting the stage on a guy who has no chance.
In this case because he's not even riding.
