Can't ask for more from Lunke, good try and a brave effort. Hoped for seond place there going into the final 8 kilometers, but seemed like he gave it all to keep the chasers behind. When that didn't succeed, it was always going to be difficult to keep up in the sprint. |

GC wise a really boring stage normally with the riders taking a break after the mountains on a stage, that normally could have led to some gaps.
Though with Kruijswijk and Oomen gaining, Olivier once again drops and losing time on riders, that should never finish ahead of him.
Having Hugenhaben in the break on this day was the obvious choice really after Dekker was in the mountains. But seeing the outcome, I guess Dekker/Zardini would have been the better option in the end. |

IT'S AN OOMEN!
Great win for him, his silly attacks earlier this season are forgiven after pulling this off.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Damn that was a Stage where we could've made the difference, shame the pace was that moderate.

Doing the right things again, with Lastras in the break this time. Good thing that Nesset managed to come back again, but a big time loss for Iturria unfortunately.
Kruijswijk is just a gem in this game. Amazing rider. Congrats to Ollfardh as well for the stage win.
Cool to see Leigh Howard being in the favourites group here!

Bad racing.
Thank god for Janvier Hadi, who had to make up for yet more lapses in concentration by Arndt and Vasyliv, and finally was able to show his sprint too. They are ridiculously far down in the GC now, but maybe it ends up saving some energy...
And we'll have a hard time keeping Gazelle behind by the end of the season if we allow them to continue scoring like this in a non-Madrazo GT.
Congrats to Lierse though! Great job.

Not much to see here for us when we're not able or don't want to commit and try for the breakaway.
Big stage by Oomen and Kruijswijk, congratulations to both, and especially to Ollfardh for the stage win. |

Thanks roturn, pretty anticlimatic that this stage was so uneventful though. Congrats Ollfardh!

Great sequence of stages for us. Formolo has been mister consistent, always following attacks and never dropping from the favorites group. And Kruijswijk is once again showing his huge talent for spotting the right breakaway. Two podium places in a row is awesome, especially combined with his rise in GC and helping us to the top of the TC.
We're in a very good position now. But there's plenty of climbing to still be done, so fingers crossed we can keep up this pace.

You would hope for blogger gaps on a stage with Gavia and Mortirolo, so a bit underwhelming stage in terms of the GC fight. Luckily that meant Nesset could come back to the group of favourites, so another good performance from him.
Would have been interesting to see Bertilsson on a flat stage with a couple of fast riders OTL, but he's been totally quiet so far, so fair enough that he also didn't made the cut this time.

Great stage for us of course but a stage with Gavia and Mortirolo should have bigger gaps, very surprised at the lack of selection. Hopefully in the finale stages things can be shaken up a bit. Apologies for my absence the last two weeks as well, I should have no real distractions for quite a while so can be more active again
Thanks for the report too.

Good job throwing the easy stage win away, idiots.
At least I feel rather safe about keeping the maglia ciclamino now, and we eliminated all but Gazelle in the teams classfication.

Yeah, I would've killed Oomen if he hadn't won yesterday..
Down to 21th, but we still have the white I guess.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Could have been a dangerous stage GC wise but all the other teams decided it wasn't to be, which is fine, so I'm glad Gesink's come out of it unscathed.
Great break win for Konig, he looked like the stronger rider in the break all throughout the day, congrats Eden!
Thanks roturn!

Thank you for another report, roturn.
Swift hanging on is good news, as it should mean a final chance to get it right in a sprint in a couple of days, as the next mountain stage doesn't look like a threat considering the time limit.
Congratulations on the win, Eden! |

All the break riders struggle and also some regular GC riders.
But Kruijswijk keeps going. Now as well alongside the favourites.
Really crazy effort by him.
But once again a break taking it. My team should really be in the winning mix as well but one 4th for Dekker was the only break result so far. |

Henao always a bit too far behind, never trying anything... I had hoped he would try to attack, even if that meant him loosing more
