Podium place against such competition is very pleasing, could have been even better but for a lacklustre first hilly stage. Thanks for all the reports

I guess 15th in the GC is still okay with three crashes here. Obviously not what I had hoped for, so we really need a good P-N now. At least we got a stage win and a GC lead for two days. And nice see Dyball in the breakaway. Too bad the peloton was in control
Congrats to all, who had a satisfying race and big thanks for the double header reports! Not happy with the outcome, but great work nevertheless.

Too bad, could have used that win to make Paris Nice really a success but first and second is a good turnout for us. Gratz to ember. Hansen is dynamite. <3

Ludvigsson and Cort Nielsen come on?!
Loosing 36th and 46th on that last flat stage to 52nd and 54th, that could be some important points in the end of the season, hopefully not.
But 12th from Wellens is ok. Stallaert collecting some minor pts aswell.
Thanks for great reporting! |

Great wekk of racing, despite our misfortune. This last stage had me hoping for a gap, but it wasn't meant to happen.
Congratulations to everyone who deserve them
thanks for the outstanding reports Aqua!

That was the perfect end! Brilliant to see Holst Enger make the most of the opportunity, doing a lot better than expected. Norman Hansen sensational leadout was the key, I guess, as it forced Guarnieri to move early due to Fonseca's lack of power when it was needed.
Guldhammer 9th overall is something I'd have taken pre-race, but seeing how it went and what position he had after the first mountain stage, it's also a race of a bit of a disappointment. Fingers crossed he'll be more stable later on this season, not having those very bad days.
Pluchkin doing just what he need to do for Nemiroff, which should make it very, very interesting to see the rankings update after this month and how high they'll have moved.
And thank you for the consistent reporting, Aquarius97! |

Well, not an absolute disaster for us then. 2nd and 3rd places in stages from Hirt and Vesely is not really anything great, but way better than nothing.
Thanks for reports.

So this was my first ever race reported for MG
A great experience tbh. It was nice to know a part of what's behind the scenes of MG. Obviously i'll be reporting a lot more races during the season
Big congrats to fjhoekie for the dominant win with Pluchkin. For sure this will be a key race for his hopes of not relegating. Over 500 points in a one-week race is an incredible result.
Great race also for Phinney, who i really thought after S3 that he could win the race, but Pluchkin is too good. Really disappointed with the performance of the two Spaniards, despite Madrazo winning a mountain stage. And finally sorry to those who crashed in the key stages, especially Morton, who couldn't stay up for more than 30 km
Really glad to see that you have liked/enjoyed my reports! If you have any suggestions to improve them, or something you think i should fix for future reports, just say it.

Quite annoying to see Goos silently lose 3 minutes and a handful of places on the final stage, in what ended up being a quiet race for the team. Needed a bit of luck to get involved in the thick of the action, and that went other team's way this time around. Shame that former rider Aru lost so much too.
Given all the crashes this year Aquarius, it might be good to try to identify more of the riders involved each time. Even if not top top leaders, they still might be riders that managers are looking out for. Otherwise, certainly a good start to reporting in MG!
