Finally it ends, a race where everything happened to the team, Vogt underperforming as usual, Paulinho and Kupfernagel involved in crashs, riders involved in the breaks and two podiuns in the end.
This will certainly not be a race to remember later but this second place in the final stage helps to minimize the losses.. 23 points is much less than I expected to achieve before the race starts, but given the way it has run, I am already satisfied when I get these points

Thanks for all your congrats. What a great, great way to start the season. As someone else said, we couldn't and didn't really expect to win this race, so that just makes it even more enjoyable.
I noticed that some of the previews were based on various formulas, but then adjusted with the previewer's subjective expectations for each rider. I'm pretty sure that those previews expect another flop season from Schreurs - I'm sure they are wrong

Guess that was me. Didn't adjust for him because I thought his overall matches already well what to expect from him. 6xx expected points for him. Too early to say if that is underrated or if that was just a random one-off occurance but of course it is a great start. Congrats
Congrats Mike! That was a great win. Disappointed with 9th considering the good early form from A.A but TDU is always a gamble. Thanks for the reports!
