Either you or Bob Stapleton know nothing about American football, please tell me which one. if you mean the National Football League and the American Football League, they started separately and combined in the sixites. If you mean the National Football League and the Arena Football League, the AFL was started a few years a go to rival the NFL, but is not a breakaway league. The only parallel to that in American sports would be the ABA, which broke away form the NBA for a short while in the seventies and early eighties.

What's the problem? I didn't say it was like that now, but in the past, you had two leagues, AFL (American Football League) and NFL (National Football League). In cycling, you will now have two leagues (ASO's and UCI's). |

Two things, one, unlike the UCI and ASO, the NFL and AFL were not breakaway league's, they were founded separately. Two, you said "several years ago" and I don't consider fifty years to be several years ago. |

It doesn't matter. My point was that there was two seperate leagues, and you obviously got the point. No reason for all that quibbling. |

Contador wants the Vuelta more than the Olympics.
Cunego wants a stage and the podium at the Tour. dream on girly boy
Riccò will decide his tour participation based on his nationals performance.
The tour of Austria is going to have quite the start list this year.

One of the rising stars into their Beveren-development squad. A good rouleur, and really fast. |

Sounds promising. I just hope he won't be another Mads Christensen |

Christensen had an attitude problem.
In his mind:
Him > God > everyone else.

I love it when someone screws over Lefévère.

Dekker isn't selected for the Tour. Neither are Gesink and Ardila. So Menchov is screwed now.
Great thinking by Breukink, idiot.
Hope Thomas now wins the dutch championships by 5 minutes. That'll show Breukink. Blatant retard |
