This TTT was a bummer. Let's try to make up for it in later stages. |

Indeed, that was disappointing, but its a ITT. Not much I can do, even going 97 for the 2nd half of the course.
Paris Nice Stage 5

The breakaway has formed for the day, and Caisse again has Javier Moreno in ir, but he cant handle the attacks and is there to pick up the minor points. The break was caught just before the 2nd last climb with bout 20km to go.

On the 2nd last climb Ben Hermans makes an attack, and Valverde senses a slowing in the peloton, so he makes his move on the climb. However even though he is making a major attack, he just doesn't seem to be getting a gap, so he's now exhausted and only about 5m clear of the peloton.

Hermans is brought back, and the real leaders start to make their sprints for the line. Its looking pretty wide open at this point, but Valverde is out of it. He must hope for a Top 10 here.

And its, Albasini with the win for Orica! Valverde pushes to keep a 6th in the sprint, and a small gap forms, giving a small group a time advantage on the rest, Valverde being a part. Strong ride by him today, to essentially make 2 large efforts.

Clearly Valverde wasn't having the best day, so a 6th place is pretty good |

Thanks Ian. Yeah. He isn't even in form yet really, so this is a good sign for the classics coming up, where our team will expect to win atleast one, with Valv and Purito.
Thanks Jakstar. I have started editing them a bit, so if you look further back, they probably aren't as nice
Yeah Freitas. Still disappointing, because I feel his first move should have stuck, but it didn't.

Valv, the colors of your screens are so vivid, how do you do that?
And about the racing; the gap is only 22 seconds, you can still win this

@ FCanc - Well I cant say exactly, but for that, I just play around with the leveling. I hate the "greyness" that PCM has for the game.
And exactly Hoyle. I hope I can Still a few hilly stages to go.

Tirreno - Adriatico Stage 2

A break of 6 made it clear for the day, and they swept up all the points in the KOM and sprint points. Vanendert was probably the biggest of the names in the breakaway today, but he did not challenge for the KOM sprints like was expected, and instead, Vinther of Saxo Tinkoff will be wearing the KOM jersey tomorrow.

With just under 25km to go, the peloton puts on the pressure, in a nice wooded area. Omega and Katusha are doing the majority of the work, as they will want their sprinters, Boonen and Friere respectively to do well today, on a stage made out for the sprinters. The catch of the BOTD is made just under 20km, and the sprint teams start re positioning near the front.

Boonen starts his sprint just a little early, but he grabs a significant advantage. This could be a powerful move, if he can hold on, going almost 3km at the front. Freire, Carrara and others are making their big efforts to the line now, so maybe he will be caught?

But Boonen cannot be brought back! That was an insane effort by him, and a fully deserved win. Rojas was even able to grab 3rd place, after following Carrara's wheel, who surprisingly put in a great sprint!

Thanks a lot everyone! The result was very satisfying, but what worries me is that Purito does not seem to be doing too well. I wasn't expecting it to be so bad, as his form is about 78, so not that terrible.
As for the screens, thanks a lot. Its quite fun actually, to make the screens look like what they should, instead of always having this grey overlay that the game puts on it.

Paris Nice Stage 6

Todays plan is for Jeannesson to grab some KOM points. Moreno wasn't allowed to get away for whatever reason, and Arnold is a stronger climber anyways, so maybe he can win some sprints?
He ended up doing alright, but nowhere near the lead still. The break was brought back in the final 1/3rd of the stage, which means it is up to the sprinters.

The town is so small, that the riders are starting their dash for the line out of town! Hushovd again looks strong, but maybe Greipel can get his first win in the race, being the top sprinter here!

But Hushovd wins it again! He is on some fine form! Decent ride for Caisse' seeing as there is no real sprinter.
