I expected a battle between Voeckler and Kessiakoff, but didn't expect both of them to be able to take the breakaway, after yesterdays efforts.
The KOM battle usually gets to be reasonably fun on the final mountain stage.
Yup I guess it will make the whole stage quite interresting; the gap is only of 6points between them (I think).
Also dont forget there are 6 categorised climbs in the last two road stages. Four of category4 and two of category3, so this battle can last to the last stage.
Yes it would be fun to see them battling it out on the flat stages, if they stay close together after today |

I'm starting to become a fan of Nibali. He could just sit there and defend third, but no, he's going for yellow.
Yeah, he has my heart this year, Liquigas best team so far
+1 I already liked him before, but he won a lot of my sympathy with this years tour, too bad he isn't an even better timetrialist
I will be sad to see him leaving Liquigas, hopefully they will get Kreuziger instead of him.
No point comparing Kreuziger to Nibali
I had to do that
Just got from my cycle, all looks good for great finale then.

I agree completly, Nibali is twice a rider last seasons. My point was replacing my favourite rider with another.

Indeed. I don't see Kreuziger coming back to Liquigas though at all though. OPQS or Saxo are the two choices for him.

Just started watching. I miss anything?
The finish looks interesting, but I don't see anyone making time. Nibali looks very strong though, so I'm excited to watch.

no point in making an alliance if you're going to keep the break unbelievably close |

Nibali descended quickly, probably without trying. He joined the break. The break was pissed so he shook hands with Valverde then slowed up and rejoined the peloton.

Yeah but why drop back if your team is going to chase the break down anyway?

Probably over now though, unless Astana gives Kessiakoff some of Vinos old "power bars" so he can outclimb everyone up the next climb

My guess is Schleck and some one. I think Zubeldia was dropped.
