my quess would be that the developers worked on the game until the latest possible point for the download version and it's only after the download version is set in stone that they print up the disc's for the cd version
then the cd version discs are printed and dispatched to the retailers
considering that amazon.fr are saying they have the game in stock now, it should be extremely soon that amazon.co.uk would have it too but as focus are french, amazon.fr get's it earliest due to a shorter distance between their printing places.
but that's only a guess.
oh well, these things happen.
From what i read here on the forum, it looks like they should start working little bit earlier.

Just cancelled my order with Amazon UK as they're now saying 1-3 weeks for delivery.
Play have it in stock, same price, so ordered from there with 1st class postage...should be here mid-week.
Don't understand how Amazon didn't make sure they had stock available when pre-orders were taken a few weeks back....still, just waiting for despatch from Play now. |

Apparently, the same thing happened last year, I always buy off of focus, mainly because in the USA, thats the only option.

Moved mine to play.com now too. Amazon couldn't guarentee delivery before TDF, which is when I play the game most.
Ordered on play a few hours ago, already close to dispatch.

Oh god! Just finished my last exam and thought i was going to get home and play Pcm12, but no, that wasn't the way it was supposed to be, since scandinavian release is only on friday! Just so depressing to see that so many others are already playing the game! |

I like it And it is playable in my opinion. I had some fun races in Armada mode yesterday and I'm playing a Tour de France in race mode which I also enjoy a lot. I think some people here on the forum are exaggerating a bit (no offence Teddy ).

I still have that problem that all riders have the same abilities in stage-race mode. But in career everything is just fine.
