Welcome!
Just sent them in online. Turns out the state owes me 519 euros....
Suddenly, I love doing taxes

Yay for me - I ordered a new laptop yesterday:
HP Pavilion dv5-1190
Core 2 Duo P7350 2 GHz
4 GB DDR2 SDRAM
320 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm
15.4" TFT 1280 x 800 ( WXGA ) - BrightView
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT - 512 MB
Unfortunately, this means I'll now have to get used to Vista |

Vista is better than XP once you get used to it - that is if you can ignore some it's more annoying features, like having to tell it, it is your computer. |

I know that all the annoying bugs from when Vista was released have been fixed by now. But I love XP. It's stable, no compatibility issues, etc.
Vista? "Do you wish to do this?", "Are you sure?", "Are you completely sure?" - "okay, go ahead". Will never get used to UAC, I think I heard they've made serious changes to it in Windows 7. |

You can disable UAC. It's the first thing I make after I install Vista.

Yeah, but I read that it will have some negative effects, e.g. that Vista sometimes will simply make it impossible to do a certain action, because the UAC is disabled. |

It's quite rare to happen something like that. It occurs frequently with things related to folders like system32 and so on, but unless you are editing those files every day, I doubt that having the UAC disabled can cause problems.
