Can't wait for stage 3 Grin

Ian Butler
Thanks a lot everyone! Good news: yesterday's show was soo exhausting that I won't do anything today but play PCM and watch cycling on tv. So just raced stage 3, will do more today!

Eneco Tour - Stage 4

D-Day for the General Classification favorites! A tough terrain with plenty of cobbles. I won this stage last year, it's the exact same route.

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco401_zps491d9267.jpg

The peloton was like an accordion today, paying attention was the key word!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco402_zps465f3ee8.jpg

Jan Ghyselinck was doing well in the breakaway. However, with only 25 km left to go, they still had over 3 minutes on us!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco403_zps678aacdd.jpg

We were getting nowhere, so I got out of Cancellara's wheel. Time to repeat last year's win, no? I set a fast pace, people hesitated.

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco404_zps94dde972.jpg

I quickly passed Ghyselinck, who was fighting for his place, and found the front of the race: Pozzato and Visconti.

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco405_zps69c859f2.jpg

They had spend an entire day in the breakaway, so they were easy to leave behind. I was just free-wheeling!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco406_zps56bb6925.jpg

Visconti refused to crack. He's incredibly strong, but I kept him at a distance. He couldn't reach my wheel and stayed at about 20 meter for 5 km.

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco407_zpsbb8e4642.jpg

He was drained of energy and he didn't insist by sprinting. Exactly one year later, here I am again! Winner of this stage in the Eneco Tour!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco408_zpscc556d93.jpg

What a brilliant day. This also means I'll be the leader for the rest of the race here. Now it was waiting for the time differences, and they were huge!

Fun Fact: I didn't come out of the saddle once since 40 km from the finish!

Wow, things are looking incredibly well! Also a big congratulations to Jan Ghyselinck with his stunning performance!
Until tomorrow,
Stijn

That's a GC wrapup!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Ian Butler
tovhol - We'll definitely try everything to do that! It would be an amazing achievement in this, already perfect, season!

Ollfardh - Stijn looks quite good indeed, but we'll also try to keep Ghyselinck on that 4th place Wink

Eneco Tour - Stage 5

For the sprinters, normally.

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco501_zpsbd41b645.jpg

Today I must thank the entire team! I was surrounded like a president on a float parade!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco502_zpsa17ff806.jpg

Kristoff did some brilliant work controlling the breakaway. We had a secret plan though. We would let the breakaway win, so less points remained at the finish and I can also try to keep the Points Jersey!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco503_zps18a9786e.jpg

Appollonio took a nasty fall when someone hit him from behind! What a devil!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco504_zpsde9257ec.jpg

The sprinters' teams caught on to our plan way too late! We succeeded, the breakaway won!

i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u569/IanButlerPCM2/eneco505_zps7c8407f9.jpg

I took a decent 7th and am still leading three classifications. Well, four if you count the Team Classification!

Once again Ian Butler shows his great photoshop skills Pfft
UCI knows Katusha has the devil in its team thats why they refused to give them a world tour licence and I thought they hate russians Grin

dienblad
Wow, those timegaps in the Ronse-stage..... Great win.

Mr Butler. WHAT THE HELL???!!! GrinGrinGrinGrin.

Three classifications for Stijn Grin. And you didn't like him because he was dominating? Pfft

Ian Butler
Bikex - My paint-skills are amazing, aren't they? Pfft The Anonymous Devil will one day strike again...

dienblad - Yeah, it was a surprisingly passive stage from yellow jersey Cancellara. That's why I attacked with Stijn, because the pack was not moving at all, they didn't really bother with a decent chase until the final 10 km!

Daggen - It's different now, he's come a long way and he hasn't won any classic yet, so far Wink

Mordekaiser
What are their stats looking like these days?

Ian Butler
Mordekaiser - Can't tell you that, mate Wink not part of the story Grin Though both got an amazing boost in the Tour. I'd say they will belong in the top of cycling in the next season, at least the season after!

JuanMotr
First of all sorry for not reporting recently Wink

I just read le Tour it was amazing read! what a TT by Willy and of course a win by Stijn! My smell was again right! Smile I will read Eneco later today.
Keep it up!
