This is Nate who was 5th in that same TT and 7th overall.

And if you'll notice the badge in the picture I have attempted to make my bike more sponsor correct with a Sock Guy Sticker

Most of the guys on my team ride Cannondale's as they were our sponsors for the last few years, now Specialized is (uggh) so I guess a lot of guys will move to those |

good luck at the two counties today sirium. as you prob already know by the time you read this i opted out. been too bogged down with uni work in the last month to fully concentrtate on training so i didn't want to drag my gf all the way over to bridgenorth at 7 in the morning just to get dropped. in the long run it would do my motivation no good so i decided to do no more racing till june.
hope you get the points you were after. |

I managed to finish my first 25 mile TT today.
I did a 1.02.31 on a fairly tough course which was good enough for 4th out of 28 starters. Two guys broke the hour and I was only about 50 seconds behind a guy who was a member of the team who won the Race Across America last year, so im happy. |

I finished the Totnes Vire 2 day stage race today. Sports Beans - Wilier won the overall, but not with Marcin Biabolocki - who crashed out and broke his collarbone today. Bit of a bummer.
I don't think I've ever felt quite so pained in all my days. I'm knackered, and my legs hurt so much just walking. Still, finished every stage, and may not have finished last overall with any luck...

On the right, yes.
As is:

Would you happen to be doing Reading CC Road Race this weekend? If so, I'm attempting a break with a lap to go, on the drag after the hill. Go with me if you can.

Results for Totnes are in for me. I came 61st on stage 1. 16 minutes down on the winner. In in 54th place in the TT, and in the laughing bunch on the final stage to "take" 49th overall.
Winner finished in 5hr22min45sec, I finished in 5hr56min26sec. So only half an hour longer riding in total.

3rd place in my first race of the year. A Crit Race, got into a break of 4 just 2 laps into the race, and we actually caught and lapped the field. Got 3rd in the sprint, and 3rd place out of the 4.
Just don't have the anaerobic power yet |

Had a really hard week of training last week during Spring Break then a fairly easy schedule this week. Rode with TIm Farnham and a couple teammates this evening and I kicked ass during the sprints.
Tim was doing 10 minute intervals so 10 seconds before he started his first one I attacked and gapped everyone. My teammates dragged me back and we pacelined. Tim didn't catch us till we hit a light 8 minutes in. For the rest we just chilled on his wheel doing 30 second sprints, drifting back onto his wheel then doing it again.
I was far and away the fastest which bodes well for the coming weekend.

I just beat my PB for 10 miles in a club TT
It was a 10.2 mile course and not a particularly fast one. For the 10 miles i did 22.53, which was 23.30 for the whole 10.2 miles. I won by a minute |

well done tom. if thats on a standard road bike with no tt equipment it's a very good time.
also why is the course 10.2 miles? why not just stop at 10 to make it a standard distance?

Who knows these things. There is a juniours tour in Latvia that had a 15km TT but was actually 12km for 2 years.

Not to be negative, but training counts for nothing if you can't do the business in races |
