Seems like the devil is within us, as we see another 6-6-6 in the top-3. Everybody with Evenepoel and Pogacar, only two missing out on Affini. French time trial champion Armirail scores decent with 14 points, other Frenchman Vauquelin with the 'popular' six points. Lipowizt as the second highest scoring rider as sixth place delivers 16 points to three people, but it's Romeo's twenty points sealing the stage win for myself, and the second place for seancoll today. Almeida only gives 2 ppp, but maillot jaune ember did well by selecting Plapp as the only one, as he also gives twenty points today. Nobody picked Castrillo, let's see if that changes in the MTT later on.

I can follow the example of Evenepoel by winning the stage and jumping onto the GC podium, but it's ember who remains in yellow, with a nice little lead over the others already. Difference between ember and me as number three is basically the same as the difference between me and the current red lantern, sammyt. Dane Bramage remains on the podium today, despite not having the best stage.
As has been mentioned already, the Tour is 'opening' and more chances for breakaways are on the table now, so let's see if we can already get some 'monster scores' today as well, with stage six. Good luck to all!

Ranking update! We (why do I say we?) start this update with a record! A new low-score has been recorded. Konkcout's previous low-score (or is it lo-score??) of six points has been halved! Three points for.... eleven managers! 2 points from Poelie, 1 from Pogi and 0 from Vingegaard. 11 Vingegaard selections and only ten points to divide, life is hard eh.
Five top-10 riders were not selected, so the four people selecting winner Healy get 25 points each, and are the top-4 of the stage. Knockout went even further and was the only one able to predict Dunbar's fourth place, delivering 70 points, individual highest score of the Tour so far! And not only that, after losing the low-score record, knockout also grabs the new high-score record of the TdF! 97 points, with almost everyone else scoring next to nothing. First manager with two stage wins as well, congratulations!

And not a lot of changes in the GC because of that, but definitely one important change! Knockout takes over yellow from ember!
