Congrats to SotD for such a strong Paris-Nice achievement.

A creditable race throughout for Kirsch to take 16th overall, pity the final breakaway denied it at least being a more round 15th. Godoy quite poor to lose such time in the hilly stage, and it was pretty unacceptable to not even have the U25 lead going into the final stage - at least he made sure to take it at the end.

It turns out, it was all a part of the masterplan of our genius DS Cool

Smith's stage win obviously makes up the poor GC result from the team. However I still do not understand what lead to all my GC riders deliberately dropping back in the prior stages and I doubt there really was a plan behind that like conserving energy for an attack on the last stage. I got lucky in the end this time but I hope in future races this won't happen again.

In the end I'm happy with our overall performance in the triple header, I should've scored above 600 points.

Thanks for the great reports Ulrich and congrats SotD on a dominant performance from the Festina team.
