Your reports should be bigger at least when it comes to races such as Omloop and ofc every WT race, but it's on you.

GP di Lugano
Today Saramotins tried his luck with a breakaway. Halfway trough the race he decided that his breakaway group was too slow for him and he pushed away from them, riding all by himself. But he couldn't quite make it. With only 17 km to go the peloton caught him. Still, it was a great display of Saramotins and IAM Cycling who really wanted to shine here in their home country.
With just 10 Km to go Elmiger upped the pelotons pace. 5 km to go... Velits (OPQ) launched his attack, quickly Moser (CAN) and Elmiger were on his wheel. They couldn't get a gap between them and the peloton tho.
The peloton - or the 22 riders who were left from it - came to the final descent. Elmiger once again pushed the pace. Attack by Elmiger with just 3 km to go! The peloton strated to srpint, but they couldn't catch him. Elmiger wins!

Victory!! Good job to team IAM! You know, I initially thought that IAM was the dog food company...

Marcel Aregger good result for the young rider. Probably the best young rider in your team. I think he could be a great classic rider. |

@NTTHRASH: The dog (and cat) food is called IAMS isn't it?
@ Nunekazz: Yes Aregger is currently the best young rider in the team and also the one with the most potential. He maybe won't be tour-GC material, but I still hope he's going to be a great star for the team.
I'm currently looking for a possible gc leader from switzerland, but with no luck so far |

Strade Bianche
Today there was another Classic. The hopes were high at IAM to show a great race. And the team showed great effort, with Hollenstein in the breakaway, that got caught about 35 km to the finish line.
Next up was Elmiger. After an attack from Pozzato (LAM) and Doumoulin (ALM) he decided to follow the attack together with Pelizotti (AND). This attack did not quite make it, but with another attack from Moser (CAN) and Saramotins it split the peloton in shatters.
Moser (CAN) really went for it. Elmiger gave it his all chasing him, with Saramotins at his heels, just a few seconds in front of the peloton. Moser (CAN) was too far ahead for Elmiger to reach and took home the victory today. Elmiger came in as very good second. Saramotins on the other hand lost his 3rd place within the last 100 meters and comes in as 7th. What a shame!

Today the team of this years Giro were presented. Even tho IAM showed great results so far this year they will not be able to ride this years giro.

IAMs sports director Marcello Albasini seemed disapointed: "We have to rescedule our entire plan now. Maybe we will go to california instead. We will see... We still count on the wildcard for the Tour de Suisse, and we hope that we can show ourselves at the Tour de France as well. If not... Well, I'm sure we will be participating next year." |

Settimana Coppi e Bartali - Stage 1
Today was the first stage of Settimana Coppi e Bartali as well as the first race for IAM Cyclings Team B.

And they had their work cut our for them. With a breakaway of 15 men strong it was entierly on them to put in the work in the peloton, as no other team seemed interested to chase the breakaway. The team around Tschopp stopped chasing after he fell in the peloton. Assuring he wouldn't lose any extra time in the GC from everybody else.

So the breakaway got trough today, with nobody seriously chasing them.

Settimana Coppi e Bartali - Stage 2
Todays stage was very short. With just 80 km the riders went right to it. Brändle joined a breakaway that did very well. Only the leaders managed to catch them at the end. Hinault and Tschopp both could manage to follow them for a long time. Up to the Sprint Brändle was in second place with still a few seconds of a lead, But all three just aren't in their best shape yet so they had to let them pass in the end. Still, a promising display of Team B nonetheless.
With 3 riders in the top 20 GC one can still hope for some exploits.
