Solid results
When will new riders join the team, or when will riders promote to the Sky WT team? Just at the end of the season? Or, because it is a development team, at random times?

The team is doing great. Agree with Cunego, i'd use a different jersey for this team. Great report |

@fcancellara, If there are more people who want to join, then obviously when the team gets to the end of the season (mid-late September) I will "sign up" these riders. That depends on how many, if any, riders leave us. I don't want any more than twenty riders.
This season three of our riders are out of contract at the end of the year, so if a bigger team comes in for them, they will leave and another rider will hopefully take their place.

Looks great. So if Sky isn't interested, then they just leave to an other team Will you also do a short report about what happened with the riders who left the team? for example each racing month? That would be great!

I should have said "if they want to leave". You can of course choose for your rider to stay for another season if you want.
If your rider receives interest from a team, I will ask on here whether you want to go there or stay for a bit longer (which is why I'm hoping everyone who registered a rider is following!).
And, of course, if a rider leaves us then I will inform you of all the races he takes part in and give short summary type reports on how he's getting on. |

Don't you think its too early to talk about the end of the season?
I'll like to enjoy this one first and don't worry about next one... anyway, if Diego has to leave, hope he goes to a colombian team
Good luck in the final stages in SA

If a rider isn't good enough for Sky might he join Endura Racing?

Maybe, if they're interested. You can also go to for example Rabobank CT, if they are interested If there is nobody interested, then you have to stay

How many times a year will we get an update on the stats of the riders? Will be nice to see how our riders progress throughout the season |

A lot of questions about the future! As some people are saying, let's just get past February first hey?
You can go to any Pro team, so yes to Endura or Rapha Condor etc. However, I would say I'm not going to let you go to Rabo CT or any other feeder team. What's the point in moving from one youth team to another?!
@mvhoogdalem, if somebody makes an improvement, I will tell you. Again, a bit too early for that though. |

Race Report
Tour of South Africa Stage 5

Stage five is the penultimate chance for the sprinters to pick up a stage win. The only real difficulty of the stage is the tough categorised climb in the middle but with it being so far from the finish the pace should be manageable for everyone. The run-in is downhill which will make the last kilometre incredibly fast and dangerous. Let's hope everyone can survive the stage.
He's done it! Finally, at the third attempt, Hoogenboom made it into the break of the day, joining eight other riders in a large group. The peloton was never going to let such a big group get far up the road and the biggest gap they got was two and a half minutes. Despite this, Hoogenboom was still happy to give it a go and show his face.
Indeed, the break was caught very early today, with the final two riders being caught fifteen kilometres from the line. With a little uphill section followed by a steep descent to the finish, positioning would now be key. It was vital to be right at the front heading into the climb. Hammarling was, Fischer wasn't.
With five kilometres still to go, the sprint trains were very messy. Endura were coming to the front but MTN and Vorarlberg were having organisational difficulties. Huigsloot and Hammarling were right at the front but it would still have to be a good effort with just the two of them to get a good result. Fischer was still trying to battle through to get to the front. Hammarling was wearing the white jersey today for McEvoy who was in the green.
This time Endura got it spot on as McEvoy and Thwaites clinched a British 1-2. Everyone's favourite rider Schumacher looks unstoppable in this race and picked up another podium finish. Hammarling just ran out of steam in the last few metres but still finished eighth, ahead of Weissinger. Yet another great ride. All of the other Sky youngsters finished in the peloton.

Not a bad stage for the team with another top 10 finish. Stage 6 will be a big challenge for the youngsters |
