Primera Division incredibly overrated as always. Premier League as well, at least the top clubs. Bundesliga a bit better than last year.
What I really like are the new UT formations. Finally 4231 with RM/LM. I'm tempted to do something with Belgians, maybe along the lines of this one:

Still in doubt what team nationality I'll start on FUT 14.
Italy was a good experience, but I think the Premier League is better in terms of quantity of good players.
Spanish and German looks cool as well...

Played bits of FIFA demo. It looks okay. They improved the UI tremendously, I mean finally it's up to some quality standard.
Three matches and three draws on legendary. Ibrahimovic my first scorer in the game 2 pentaly shoot outs won, one lost.
I am kinda not particularly impressed by that, I mean I usually suck at the demo, getting used to the new game for a while. And drawing comfortably on highest level possible doesn't bode for great level in carrer mode.
And importantly, pace ( at least to me ) is playing much lesser part than it did in FIFA 13 which is a nice thing

I hate to wait another week for the demo/s - FIFA 14 (and PES 2014)
Looking forward to the reduced pace and further improved ball physics.

You mean EA have finally, after all these years, made a football game that's actually half decent? Might give the demo a try then. A friend of mine told me that 13 was good, borrowed it from him and remembered why I stopped playing non-FM football games. Such a load of crap it makes PCM13 looks like a masterpiece.

So, played the demo today. One win and onde draw and then I won on penalties. Overall, it seems better than FIFA 13. And the menus, finally, no lag whatsoever on the menus. |

Am I the only one who still playes FIFA13 and has no intention of buying 14?
Just a funny thing from my Forest-career; I got promoted in my first season and did pretty well in my 2nd year.
The relegation battle was extremely fun!
Here's the final standings
Place - Team -W-D-L - GD - P
16. Norwich - 5-15-18 - -23 - 30
17. Aston Villa - 7-9-22 - -29 - 30
18. Fulham - 7-9-22 - -29 - 30
On the last day Norwich needed a win whilst Fulham and Villa had to get atleast a point. If Norwich won and both Fulham and Villa lost, Fulham had to lose with one goal less than Villa to stay up.
Norwich scores their winning goal in the 85th minute. Fulham now has to get atleast a draw against United. In the 87th minute Utd takes the lead whilst Villa is down 3-2 against QPR.
Since QPR doesn't score anymore goals Fulham is relegated on the very last day on goals scored with just 3 minutes to go Villa had scored 32 and Fulham 27.

No, I will skip a game and stay with 13 for now
Started an interesting player career with a young 76 AVG forward. Starting at KRC Genk, bought by Bayern München in season 2, but on loan (to get some play minutes) at Frankfurt.
This game really is a lot of fun. However, Fifa has the quality that it can turn against you in a moment, and nothing you do works and everything that's done against you is so smooth. |

I've bought 14 but I just don't really like it. Been playing UT on 13 (And trading down my coins) so I've now got this team:

Iniesta is fantastic, just simply sublime.
Only problem is I'm not too keen on the career mode on 13 so I play my careers on 14. Does mean it takes me a few games when i switch to adapt but then its more enjoyable. Atleast on UT13 my players can trap a ball which they don't seem able of doing on UT14.
My PSN if you ever want a game (And assuming your on playstation ) is nfcmufc |
