You have 2 options:
1. Change your database to include this equipment; or
2. Change everything that is written as leopard_ to another ingame team such as ctt_ (cervélo) or mrm_ (milram) and then let it over- write the files.
Having said this, option 1 is the best way.
Leave bike files as is and you should edit your database's STA_equipment/gene_sz_name (call it Leopard TT Bike/ Leopard road bike) & gene_sz_nomenclature
(what the game AI reconizes the equipment as) lines for the team you are replacing to Frame_leopard, and Frame_leopard_tt.
Place the .nif files in your C/Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010/CM_Meshes/Equipment/Helmets and Frames folders.
Place the .dds files in your C/Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010/CM_Textures/Equipment/Helmets and Frames folders.

I´ve changed a few things on KenL´s Leopard Trek bike (stem, gear and bottle cage).
BTW, i really like the texture changes you and Bikefeak did
