I'm sure this has been said before, but I can't find it.
Is there a fixed number of riders you can have in CT races? Or is it 6,7 or 8 depending on your whim as a manager?

IIRC you can send a maximum of 8. No minimum. That's different though for TTs, don't know what exactly the rules are on that.

The max riders per race is
HC: 8
C1/C2/C2HC: 7
Except for Isle of Man ITT and Windhoek ITT at 3, and Duo Differdange at 2.

Oh 8 for HC? Better for me... More room to train youngsters
Assumed it was 7 for some reason...

Not that I'm planning to, but you could theoretically just send 1 rider to a race?

Just to be absolutely sure, it's allowed to use wage budget that's left over on your overall budget, for instance on training or transfer fees?
I read the rules as it's allowed to use 200k from my wage budget, if I haven't used those 200k on wages, on my general budget for transfers or training, but it would be great with a confirmation. |

There is no such thing as a wage budget, you only have one budget. The salary cap just tells you how much of that you are allowed to spend on wages.
Those 3.5 are not exclusively spend-able on wages, they're not blocked from other uses if you don't pay exactly 3.5m wages.
So of course you can spend that on transfers or training.

Just to be safe: The 15 rider minimum for CT teams includes loaned in riders, right? So it'd be fine to have 14 riders plus one or two riders loaned in?
