Konig's FB page also confirmed it is Sky for the years 2015 and 2016...
fck it, I hate them, and there a lot of riders for GC, it will be hard for him...
Thank you Andy for everything!

Yep. It`s on his fb as well.
Really don`t like this move. With Katusha he would have been helper for many races as well. But then again would have gotten more chances himself.
This move is probably just good for his bank account. |

Very good additions for SKY. Those are established riders and they add some great depth. Hoping Poels and König will have their chances in the future, pretty sure Roch will get his share of captaincy anyway but only in smaller races. I reckon, maybe König and Roche will go with double-lead in Vuelta next year.
Yeah, Katusha would have probably been best for König, especially since Purito isn't the youngest anymore and they will need a true Grand Tour contender sooner or later as replacement.

If he can explain sufficiently well why that move was the best for him to any person in the world, I'm impressed.

I see two or three benefits.
Money (but does not Katusha have shitload of it too?)
SKY is great team, even if i hate them. (on the other hand, they can fuck up careers of non-english ridrs pretty well).
König wanted anglo-saxon team, not eastern one.
With all that, i still hate him for that decision. How i am supposed to cheer for him now?

Thats just completely messed up. I reckoned he said something about being a captain in the Tour on a world tour-level, but he chooses to of all teams to go to Sky. Reasoning? Probably just money which is unfortunately, but its part of the game..
Bad, bad move cycling-wise imo and i am quite disappointed by him tbh. He would have been better off individually on nearly every other team |

And tomorrow Alonso's team is supposed to present the team and 10 offers. I'm expectant.
Samuel Sanchez could one of them? |

König and Roche to SKY König is no longer on my fav list (not that he cares), not when he is in the same underwear as Brailsford. I still like Roche though, and I hope the best for him. But he will likely just be another freight car in the SKY-train. Hope he will get some personal success. What a sad day for the human race
Present:
Tinkoff-Saxo - AG2R - Colombian riders
Past:
Francisco Mancebo - Illes balears - Carlos Sastre - Kelme - Robbie McEwen

Cant believe KONIG went to SKY, can't wait until next season, they seem to be building a team to rival Tinkoff on TANK LEVEL.It seems only two teams will be winning next year.

Well,
Quintana-Valverde-Intxausti-Visconti-J.Moreno-Castroviejo-Amador-Antón-Jo.Herrada isn;t exactly weak either. I expect quite a lot of them as well.

I guess so, but Sky and Tinkoff are going to be competitive over all terrain.
