I need the help of some belgians! I tried using a searchlight with the silhouette of a waffle and Tintin to summon some, but it didn't work.
There's an arguement on a norwegian football forum on wether or not this newspaper article is real, and if so, where it's from.
It's from 2002 and some people claim it's fake since Lukaku does not look like he's 9 years old.

That can be real. Lukaku always looked older than he is. I mean, irl he's my age, I look like a baby compared to him, he's like a 30 year old giant

OH and concerning the question where it's from, I don't know for sure but most probably a Belgian magazine. Language is dutch (van onze duivels), they talk about "our" devils so Belgian. Lay-out is not that of a newspaper so I guess a magazine.
Only thing that's odd is... where the hell is Courtois? |

I think None of them look nine. Either older or younger.

It's from Belgian (Flemish) newspaper 'Het Laatste Nieuws'. The Sunday edition. There is a second page of that article with pictures from others in 2002. Vermaelen and Van Buyten ao.

In Belgium, it's (almost) impossible to lie about your age, way too much bureaucratic stuff. Especially since there was a tv program about Lukaku's school. Pretty sure he's the age he says he is. |

Especially because his father was quite a famous football player himself aswell.

Not necessarily, players have lied about their age before. But I prefer to think of him as simply a physcial freak of nature. The guy probably started shaving at 5.

While Lille was not part of the France before Luis XIV., i suppose the city still has the belgian feeling?
And Lukaku indeed looks like a genetic experiment, armored vehicle mixed with the beast.
