Saxobank is becoming really strong. Bennati is trying to revive his carrer, and Saxo is a good way for him to do that. He will have a lot of chance to lead in the sprint for the team. Together with Haedo, this could be a really good double. |

Haedo, Guardini will get most of the chances. Another bad move.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Another good signing for Saxobank; Mikel Nieve. As it's been said on twitter.

Saxo signed only 4 riders so far...
Kump, Bennati, Roche and Nieve ( who is not yet officially confirmed ).
They lost Navarro ( Cofidis ) and Nuyens ( Garmin - not official yet ) so far. And few more to go.

Nieve is an excellent signing. Makes up for losing Navarro, with a bit of a margin.

AG2R is worse: signed already 6 riders while only 2 are leaving
Going to AG2R: Appollonio, Betancur, Chainel, Dumoulin, Hutarovich and Pozzovivo
Leaving: Roche, Hinault |

Not sure where I read that, but Casper was supposed to be leaving too (no this is not a Jimmy Casper joke ). |

And now when someone repeats that in 5 days, the joke can come full circle as we tell him "and he signed right back with AG2R"

Several journalists in spain are arguing with each other over whether Nieve has already signed for Saxo Bank or whether he's just agreed verbally and not yet signed on paper
As for Nuyens at Garmin....well, that completely kills any lingering hope I had that Garmin might really be clean. They don't get any dirtier than Nuyens.

Presumably they only gave 1 year deals to the likes of Zargari and Shpilevskiy, whose only purpose was to bring points from last season from weaker races

I lost it with Rasmussen, or Dekker, or Vaughters

Agree with Dekker and Vaughters but no need to think Rasmussen was/is not clean just fucking up the whereabouts. That he forgets to submit in the whereabout-updating system have nothing to do with dope afterall.

So everyone who doped 5-10 years ago dopes today? Well then half the peleton dopes still.

What's wrong with Nuyens? Hate cause he leaves? Pfft. get over it.
I'ts pretty clear to me, that his time is over, so he probably signed Garmin for the money.

Can i ask what makes Nuyens suspicious? I know he has been on a lot of teams with doping cases (but who hasn't at this point..) But i haven't heard/found anything else that makes him more suspicious compared to other Garmin riders? |

Some rider among one of the team he's ridden for (and the rider's integrity cannot be questioned) named him as one of the four riders doping in the team.
One of the other four would get caught during the Tour de France a couple of months later. The other three (including Nuyens) have never been caught, to my knowledge. |
