I hope Elia goes to Sky. He already showed that he's pretty decent without much support in Cannondale and as Sky needs a good sprinter, I can see that happening. If it's true that he resigned with Garmin-Cannondale, well... shame.
SKY has Ben Swift.Did Swift went to a differnt team?
Swift is without contract for next season still I believe. And I would pick Ben Swift over Viviani any day any time.
That is a fair call, Swift is a solid rider who is always around the placings and seems to be happy playing 2nd fiddle to Sky's GT ambitions

As far as it looks now Sky will try to push the Viviani deal through hard. They have extra benefit as they know him quite well when he raced on the track.
Sky 2015 signings likely now: Viviani, Poels, Roche, Nordhaug and lastly König.
König is a wanted man, but hardest to get on a contract as he's wanted by few teams. But looks like Sky are in pole position. However that can change quickly, so he's nowhere done deal yet.
How is it possible that they sign that many riders who are 2nd or 3rd strong leaders at least on other teams. This is why everyone hates them.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Sky in pole position? If thats the truth, that speaks volumes about König's own ambitions. Come on now. |

Bouhanni in unlikely going to race again for FDJ, because of him speaking bad about DS Madiot and he answered back in excluding him from racing

This is what happens when your operating budget is high enough to run 2 decent WT teams.

Bakelants to AG2R is a done deal. He signs a two-year contract and cites leadership as his main motive. Curious to see how that will work out. |

Some transfer news from Wielerflits.
Cunego leaves Lampre. According to La Gazetta dello Sport interested teams are Bretagne, Androni, Neri Sottoli and Vini Fantini - Nippo.
Elia Viviani will ride for Cannondale - Slipstream next year. According to Cyclingnews Moser, Marangoni, Koren, Villella, Formolo, Bettiol and Mohoric will also join the team.
Lastly Maurits Lammertink has said he will sign for a pro team soon. He couldn't say which team, but it wasn't Roompot - Orange.
Turns out he did sign for Roompot - Orange, after denying it.

And Roompot continues signing riders. Marc de Maar signs for the team, while Huub Duyn's signing also gets confirmed. |

In this article they say König goes to Sky (official), Jasper Hamelink and Milan Veltman go to Metec-TKH, Hartthijs De Vries en Jan Maas to Rabobank Development Team, Tiesj Benoot to Lotto Belisol and Ruben Zepuntke probably goes to a world tour team |

Ffs Sky... why you sign so many riders I like? Cataldo, Nieve, Kiryienka, and now this year Roche and Konig. If they didn't carry all the baggage that Sky carries with them (as well as Froome and Wiggins) I would actually really like the team, but hey ho...

Good signing, one year contract, to see if he proves he's worthy of a longer contract, he's bit lazy at times.
Anyhow, good domestique for Keuleire in cobbles and general leadout guy.
Tiesj, deserved contract. Lotto did well to get both Verveake and Benoot this season, best Belgian talents alongside Teuns who went to BMC.

Why do MTN keep signing sprinting and flat guys instead of adding versatility. Adding a bunch of 3rd tier sprinters gives you no real advantage.
