Clearly it's Carlos the Jackal. He's escaped and taken the cause of the hobos to blow up the Discovery Channel.
Clearly.

By the way, the attacker sent his demands via an email-link to Discovery Channel on beforehand.
https://webcache.g...otest.com/ (Link to Google Archive, site down due to large traffic)
Judging by his language and some of the absurb claims, "crazy" seams to be a fitting word.
I also find it an interresting trivial note that despite being seamingly fanatically obsessed with Daniel Quinn's works, he seams oblivious to one of the authors clearest critisisms; the idea put forward by many enviromentalists that humans are fundamentally "evil" and are ruining the planet due to that being the nature of man, which Quinn strongly disagrees with. Yet this is essentialy the centerpoint of the attackers demands.
Anyway, I to hope this get's solved peacefully.
Also:
Saving the environment and the remaning species diversity of the planet is now your mindset. Nothing is more important than saving them. The Lions, Tigers, Giraffes, Elephants, Froggies, Turtles, Apes, Raccoons, Beetles, Ants, Sharks, Bears, and, of course, the Squirrels.

They killed him, and apparently he did have explosives, as the metal cylinders on his chest blew up when they shot him.
No one else was harmed. |

Reminds of the bus hostage situation in Manila a few days ago. It was quite weird to be able to see it live on the news... Yet also interesting, though. |

I tried with the World Track Championships, but they wouldn't let me in without the press pass |

Me and Schleck93 have a conflict:
Who would win in a fight? A moose or a kangaroo?
