Nimes, beautiful town. Mark Cavendish won here in the 2008 Tour de France, that was last July. It's February now, a lot colder, and a different race and instead of finish here, we're going to start here (The tour de france did that too  ).
So, whats the aim of the day, get in a breakaway. Possibly even win the stage.
So, Stage 2 of the Etoile takes us from Nimes, 112km later we'll be in Saint Ambroix.
2 KOM points.
On with the stage then...
It's very windy today!
A break of 13 riders got out early, and got brought back early too.
Hutarovich in the peloton, with some very nice flowers.
Duval attacks
Group of 6 riders: Johnson, Jarc, Duval, Curvers, Ericsson and Oredsson.
Duval takes the Cote de Barjac, he's in the KOM jersey tonight!
Fedrigo wins the 2nd Stage of the Etoile de Besseges.
It's his turn on the podium
Maillot Jaune for Fedrigo too.

Good Morning, today we're in La Grand-Combe for the 3rd stage of the Etoile de Besseges. I've predicted that today is the deciding day in the race.
Let me tell you my tactics:
2 leaders are here. Casar, and Joly. I can therefore play the 1,2. One rider will attack, when he's brought back, i'll counter it.
Let's run down the stage:
139km from La Grand-Combe to Les Salles du Gardon.
2 Sprints in La Grand Combe, one climb of the Col de Portes and 2 climbs of the Col de la Baraque.
What's going to happen? I really don't know. We also have 2 second battle, to keep the KOM jersey.
(Before you read the report, it's a good one. Keep in mind the stress and tension here. It's a good one!)
Here we go..
Here's the start line, Duval is in the Mountains classification jersey. Can he defend it? Can we get the overall win? Only time will tell...
YANNICK TALABARDON ATTACKS! ZOMG!
Mourey takes the first KOM at the Col de Portes. He's basically nulifying points.
So, Mourey is nulifying points, but he's dead. Duval attacks from the peloton to try and keep the jersey himself. Mourey needs 3rd on this climb to keep it. The final climb of the day!
One guy up the road, i need to take 2nd in this group to keep the jersey, but it will belong to Mourey
It's close, a Cofidis rider attacks, do we have the jersey, my maths says yes!
Now onto the General Classification battle... Joly begins the 1,2 tactic. He goes up the road early, Casar is towards the front on the bunch. Will it work out?
Joly brought back, here's Casar. The battle is lost, it's for placings now!
Rodriguez of Caisse wins the stage, but where's Casar?
Rodriguez gets the stage, but does he get the jersey?
Nope, Fedrigo keeps it!

Bonjour from Allegre for the 4th Stage of the Etoile de Besseges. Today we're looking for a stage win, and to maintain the Polka dot jersey.
Today's stage is quite flat, one for the sprinters however they may well be out of energy towards the end. A KOM sprint is just 20km for the end of the stage.
At the same time, i've very much hoping we can do well here.
Todays race is 128km from Allegre - Les Fumades.
Today a break went out, containing 8 riders including Sinkeldam, he's been very active during this race.
The first KOM point of the day is at Cote de Lablachere and it's taken by Sinkledam.
20km to go, and there's another KOM, this time taken by Poos (yes, ok I laughed at the name too!). Anyway this was the Cote des Brousses
10km to go, the break has been brought pack, now it's all about the sprinters!
Arnold Jeanneson wins the Stage.
Does this screen really need an explination, either way it's Jeanneson on the podium as stage winner!
Fedrigo is still in the Maillot Jaune and looks set to win the race tomorrow.
