Very unfortunate to drop off the podium on the last stage behind the other two American stage racers. Sending only 7 riders here really came back biting me in the ass. I tried to avoid that but only could do it if tampering with the race schedule of my leaders, which I decided against.
Nevertheless, it was a great debut race for McNulty in King Power colors. Looking forward to what's to come.

Great first real PT race for McNulty. He looked really strong on the climbs. Disappointing to drop to 4th in the TTT but 4th in that company is a pretty good outcome. Also put some pressure on Gidich who was weak by comparison in TA.
Yeah performances like this give me some ideas where to put my training funds.
Congrats redordead on quite a dominant GC victory!
Fantastic ride from Faglum Karlsson here, well beyond even the best case expectation. Kemboi on the other hand continues to have an awful season - past experience tells me his wage will rise anyway, but can hope for a decrease at least...
Congrats redordead, definitely a feeling of the changing of the guard here!
A really enjoyable race for us again after Portugal appeared to have been a good warmup race for Steimle, where did that consistency at the highest level come from?!
Sadly once again, Kämna faltered on the crucial stage for his GC hopes, but we could never be mad about sending this kind of riders to such a prestigious race and then "only" getting four podium spots out of it.
Speaking of, how did we decide on the TTT results after all?
Either way, Pogi has finally arrived! Congrats. And thanks roturn.
Hey! Apologies for my absence!
Between being busy and basically constantly sick, I feel behind schedule to follow the early races live, and then my ADHD ass kicked in and faltered under that ever-growing backlog again.
I'm back for the Giro and hopefully everything after, and I want to reiterate I'm still very much committed to this game long-term if you want me around.
Happy New Year!
