We have matches again! Denmark eliminated Wales and Italy needed extra time to fend off Austria. How did we all do?

That many goals were not predicted, but a Danish victory was common. 10 points await those, with cunego59 and Ollfardh taking an extra 5 for predicting the Welsh wouldn't score.

Italy - Austria 0 - 0, Italy advances after extra time
We take the score after regular time, so 0 - 0 instead of the 2 - 1 after an extra 30 minutes. Almost everyone scores 10 points, as almost everyone had Italy advancing and Austria not to score. Leader Nemolito is the exception for predicting Austria would score, only 5 points for him.

Nemolito didn't have the best day but his lead is still big enough to be comfortable. kandesbunzler26 only scores 10 points and sees df_Trek and Ollfardh pass him, who now tie in second 55 points behind the leader, kandesbunzler26 5 points behind them. jph27 did not send in prediction but doesn't drop places yet.

kandesbunzler26 had the best round, scoring 30 points to put him back into second place, 45 points behind Nemolito. df_Trek 10 points behind in third, Ollfardh another 10 points behind in fourth. My eternal scepticism at least brought me off last place, leading TheManxMissile by 5 points.

What a day! Both 2018 World Cup finalists are out after a 3 - 3 draw, with Spain beating Croatia after extra time and Switzerland beating France on penalties.
Croatia - Spain 3 - 3, Spain advances after extra time
Five people correctly predicted this match would go to extra time, though all but df_Trek thought it would be Croatia getting the win. df_Trek takes 15 points, the others 10 as well as TheManxMissile, who thought Spain would win by three goals.

The ranking remain the same other than Aequitas undoing the tie with FreitasPCM and TheManxMissile drawing alongside Marcovdw. Nemolito lost 5 points of his lead to kandesbunzler26, but still leads with a comfortable 40 points.

It looked like it was going to penalties, but Ukraine score in the stoppage time of extra time to advance to the quarter finals. Interestingly, AbhishekLFC, df_Trek and FreitasPCM had 1 - 1 draws but each of them picked Sweden to advance, hence they only get 20 out of 25 points. TheManxMissile did have Ukraine advancing but predicted 2 - 2, which is worth 15 points.

How many of the best numbers three (Portugal, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Ukraine) advance to the quarter finals? Czech Republic beating the Netherlands was a mandatory one to have. Portugal fails to repeat its 2016 performance by losing to Belgium, Switzerland shocked us and France to advance and Ukraine beats Sweden, so the answer is 3. Some people had 0, others had 1, and some had 2, but no one had 3, so this bonus questions has become irrelevant.

The first person to cross the 500-point mark is Nemolito, still leading strong after the round of 16! 50 points behind him is df_Trek, with kandesbunzler26 completing the podium 10 points behind him. FreitasPCM makes a leap from sixth to fourth, overtaking Ollfardh and Aequitas, the latter also overtaken by AbhishekLFC. Oh wow, didn't notice that you had only just posted the results
Anyway, nice to be in the lead, but since France is out and I can't score those 100 points anymore (whereas Trek for example said Belgium), I don't feel too good about my winning chances atm. Better to be at the top than at 325 points of course
