How many times did you replay the stage to get that result!
After losing some time on stage 7 I have to say I didn't expect this kind of performance. This has to go down as maybe the teams best win but I have to say a great deal of luck went into it considering everyone else just looked at each other.
What a great haul of pts this will be with probably 2nd overall and 2 stage wins(!!!!) to our haul. What a race, even though we've narrowly missed out on the win goal, it was probably never on in this field so we'll take everything we can from here.

Final stage posted.
Enjoyed racing and reporting this race with it's ups and downs, GC and KOM lead changes and near misses all through. Congrats to fj on the win, comfortable gap in the end but anything but routine before that.
Hope everyone liked reading it as well

Not good enough in the end after that stage win. With 3 solid climbers all well down on GC and two of them with a realistic shot at the KOM we do nothing on the penultimate stage
Haven't gotten close to winning a KOM jersey since I started playing MG which I don't understand at all
Congrats to the winners and thank you Abhi for the reports

Really frustrating one for us, yet again we let ourselves down in a goal race - I should really start making them hilly classics and TTT events so I stop cursing us in races where we typically succeed
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Not the greatest race for us, but that should be over 100 ppints which is fairly satisfactory Id say

Some unexpected points from Senni, but Oomen did not make the GC jump I was hoping for. All in all a decent race for us, thanks for the reports!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Too bad Lammertink couldn't make the double. Taking his first pro win here is still good though. Disappointed we didn't try more in the other stages, but at least thanks to Lammertink we had a good display in the time - trials.
thanks for the reports.

Seems like Gesink turned up in the end. Pluchkin the expected winner. Congrats everyone who is happy with their race!
Leung hasn't had the best of starts.
Obviously
Other than that Smith even gained a position and Azman didn't drop too much so the TT wasn't that bad.
However overall this race was the next complete disappointment besides Smith's decent GC position. I had the strongest prologue rider here and a squad that was very suited to joining breaks, but none of that gained the team any points.
Thanks Abhishek for the great reports! |

Really happy about Talansky's performance in the final stage! 9th in the GC is about average given the expectations, but we've had unexpectedly good results by Theuns and the rest of the team so this Volta has been an overall satisfying race for us.
Great to see Gesink still has it! Was worried he would disappoint Gustav but all in all that's an ok race for him. Congrats everyone who did well here.
Thanks Abhi for the very nice and consistent reports!

Really stoked to see Masnada getting a Top 20 GC result here, without even a single breakaway appearance. Good stuff to build on next year
Congrats to Pluchkin for a pretty dominant win at the end of the day - although it would have been nice to see what Meintjes could have done had he taken the leader jersey yesterday.
And good to see that Gesink finally delivers. Too bad he didn't get many other good stage results, but that ITT win and the 2nd place get the team a good points haul nonetheless.
Meintjes steps down by two spots compared to last year, but he can't really complain about this result, given the competition. And that win on stage 8 was absolutely amazing!
Thanks for the great coverage, Abhi!

Relatively uneventful Volta a Portugal for us. But Karnulin definitely did a solid and consistent job at being our GC leader and Tratnik atleast showed our colors in many breaks. We didn't score a whole lot, but do leave fairly satisfied.
Nice reporting Abhi, thx!

A complete disaster is what this race was for my team. 100pts conquered is far from being a good result, especially considering that in previous years we achieved much more and with worse teams. Montoya and Kupfernagel were completely useless.
Congrats to fj on the win and thanks for the reports

Well, we achieve the Top5 Goal, but it was very disappointing to see that mountain stage. Not the start i hoped, but it's already some decent points

This! Was hoping to get on the final podium after yesterday's result, but this performance makes the race a clear success for us. Pretty lucky to nick that 2nd place by just one second, but I won't complain
Thanks for the congratulatory words everyone. Congrats fj for the dominant GC win.
Finally, thanks Abi for all the amazing reports. Outstanding job once again, mate!
