Robov trying atleast in the KoM fight, but it´s in those last 2 stages where he should get the most pts.
Wellens is stable so far, hope that will continue in the TT he should pass Olivier after that stage but Madrazo could get very close to pass Wellens on the other hand. Im glad we stayed out of crashes, so still having 3 guys top 30. |

Crazy!
Taarame again at it! Can't he lose a little bit? Monster performance. Pluchkin waking up from the dead! Machado on a very responsible performance, loses the yellow jersey but still alive for a podium place.
Schleck definitely paying for his intense Vuelta. Madrazo as well. Man-Game getting way too realistic here!
Vysna and Olivier with outstanding results as well
Congratulations again Heine!

Taaramae with another fine performance, just as it had to be expected after that big training program in the offseason.
I can be really happy about my team so far. Lopez with some fine activity today and eventhough i would of course have prefered if Koch and Vosekalns had switched the groups today this result is still looking great for me. Please hold on guys
Spoiler Hoping Koch is not injured ofc
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

This is really going better than expected, now time for the TT where we should get a bit more time on the main rivals and then 2 stages to see if my team is up for this.
First time I've seen Schleck crack

Seconds behind Schleck at the end of the Vuelta, Dombo's now a quarter of an hour behind Taaramae after 6 stages and seemingly entirely uninterested in what's going on.

4 wins out of 7 RD for Taaramae this season. Totally ridiculous
And apart from the Estonian amazing performance, this race is being quite unbelievable in terms of the rest of the bunch, with Schleck 4th 4 minutes down, Dombrowski 14 minutes away, Vysna and Koch just outside top10...
And great reports jandal, really enjoyable

Not sure if just really unlucky on daily form or what, but another rubbish mountain stage by Schleck. How he can crack when already doing badly, I dont know. Clearly not the only one too, with Madrazo and Dombrowski also disappointing.
Sucks to lose Konig too. Race days far too valuable for abandonments to come and derail things.
I was hoping to see a good battle between Taaramae and Schleck, but while one is hitting all the perfect moves, mine just hasn't shown up. Such a waste of his last max stat race.

How long can an injury last? Finishing 130th is not bad, considering Morton's race so far, but it's a bit off for a TT 72 rider with good recovery.
Can't we just stop this horror? It's a pain to follow Even our TT guys do a sh**t here.
Thanks for the reports anyway.

Now that is a very nice result! Kittel's best individual performance for quite some time, and his first win for more than 2 years. Also my first win of the season outside of Andy Schleck
Particularly good to beat the Porto specialists - but Gustavovskiy must be happy with Machado's performance, he is looking very good for his 2nd overall so far, with some excellent results.
Schleck with a decent and better than expected result too, leaves the podium well within reach if he can find his climbing shoes again. Not so great from Goos today, but keeps hold of 15th overall.
Kudus also below par, to nearly be beaten by Berhane who has til now had a real shocker of a race. 11th not an unreasonable GC target for him, but a Top 10 could be tricky.

Ouch, really sad to see Beltran forced to abandon on stage 6. Suddenly we have nothing left in this race, as he was our guy for the GC and at least some kind of points. Now we're only left with breakaway hopes for stage 8 and 9, which of course is more likely not to happen than the other way around.
For the TT, surprised to see Fiedler miss out on the win when Kittel was up there. Would have understood it more if it proved to be a TT for the GC boys, but seeing the the top two, definitely a chance missed for Fiedler.
Thank you for the reports, jandal7! And here's for hoping for some breakaway luck on the final two stages with Beltran out of this race |

Indeed. I wasn't expecting Machado to be at this sort of level. My lord what a race from him. He's beaten every GC rider today. Very fortunate event for us so far!
I'm not even fussed about Fiedler and Zmorka.Congratulations SN, it's a well-deserved win.
Thanks for keeping the steady pace jandal! Really appreciate it!

Nothing spectacular in this ITT for us, Sütterlin slightly disappointing, and neither Herklotz nor Bongiorno (who still looks great in the GC in 14th) pushed above their weight either.
I just hope Silvio can get back on track for the last couple of stages, the GC still looks great for him if he can just be on a 81mo level again. We don't need a stage 3 performance, but we sure as hell don't need a stage 6 performance either!
The downhill-fest tomorrow and the late kicker on the final stage should suit him in theory. If he's not affected by the crash, that is...

A bit dissapointed about Rein there, but couldn't expect him to be crazy on all stages, but loosing time to Machado is bad, and not gaining more on Schleck is bad...

Not a perfect TT by Wellens loosing time to Herklotz (32s), Dombo (17s), Yates (16s), Olivier (6s) all of them got the same TT stat that Wellens or even lesser TT stat. Was hoping to pass Oliver by instead he expanded his time to Wellens.
Hope he saves some energy for the Mountains aswell as Ludvigsson(77th with 75TT ) and Lövkvist who did not impressed in the TT either. |

A really chaotic stage there - sorry about the general confusion and lack of overview at times in the report - that's the hardest stage I've ever had to do and it shows a bit Hope the stage is entertaining at the least
